This was probably the longest week I've had here in Massachusetts and finally, it was Friday. I was slowly counting down the hours until we had to go home. I began taking notes when my phone went off. I smiled, reading the text.

"I have surgery tonight and I know you wanna go home but I need some company in the OR? Meet me in the on-call room as soon as you get this."

I chuckled, walking up the stairs into the on-call room. I opened the door to find Caleb and some other doctor I've only seen like twice, completely naked. I gasped, turning around.

"O-oh my... Ok sorry. I'm leaving now" I mumbled. Whoops, wrong on-call room. I walked into the next room to find Jaehyun laying on the bed, shirtless. I widened my eyes, my face heating up as I studied his chiseled, toned abs.

"Why do I keep walking into people when they don't have clothes on?!" I mumbled. He chuckled.

"Relax, I was taking a nap." He said, pulling on his shirt. I sighed, laying down on the bed as he got off of it.

"So the patient is-"

"Whoa whoa whoa... I never said that I was gonna scrub in, pretty boy," I mumbled, crossing my arms. He chuckled.

"pretty boy?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Your new nickname" I mumbled. He sighed.

"Then why did you come here?" He asked. I sighed, hugging the pillow.

"Caleb has the house keys because he left his at home. And now I need them because I need to go clean the house before Nicholas comes." I said. He wiggled his eyebrows.

"Nicholas? Who's that? Your hot date?" He asked. I laughed.

"Sure my hot date is a two-year-old whose parents are going out of town for their anniversary." I joked. He nodded.

"Ohhh baby Nicky. Well, can't you just come with me anyway?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Pleaseeeee. It'll only take two hours! Standard craniotomy." He explained. I scoffed.

"What's in it for me?" I asked. He gasped.

"As a resident, you should be excited to be invited to such a pristine surgery." He explained. I got off of the bed, standing up to walk out of the room.

"Not gonna happen, pretty boy," I mumbled. He grabbed my hand.

"I am begging you! If you don't do it, I'm gonna end up with a crappy resident who doesn't know what they're doing!" He whined. I smacked him across the top of his head.

"Stop hating on residents! You know not long ago you were one of us" I reminded. He shrugged.

"Oh please I was better than you guys" He claimed. I rolled my eyes.

"Just for that, I'm leaving now." I teased, walking out of the room. I watched as he followed me out of the room.

"Oh come on! I didn't mean you." He pouted. I chuckled.

"Take Clark... She's probably smarter than me" I explained. He nodded.

"Sure sure Clark will work... But she's not you" He mentioned, elbowing me. I felt my cheeks burning up.

"I'm walking away now, pretty boy," I whispered. I saw the elevator doors about to close so I ran over, carefully slipping into it.

I widened my eyes, staring at the man in the elevator.

"Brandon, what are you still doing here?" I asked. He sighed.

"I came to go say goodbye to my son one last time" He claimed. I nodded.
