hyunjin stood under the decorated arc that late afternoon on the beach, the waves crashing through the sand and the sun setting beside them. he let out a huff of breath full of nervousness as he darted his eyes left to right on their guests with happy grins and excited faces.

seungmin nudged him and chan poked his head to glance at him from where he stood beside seungmin, hyunjin thought he needed all support he could get and he couldn't decide which one of the two he'd make his groomsman.
❝ you're shaking too much. ❞
seungmin chuckled and chan laughed along with him, hyunjin huffed again and clenched his fists trying to stop himself from trembling but it didn't exactly work.

❝ don't worry, once he starts walking, you'll see no one else but him. ❞
seungmin smiled warmly, hyunjin glanced at him from the corner of his eyes and smiled, sighing to calm himself down.

his eyes darted to the guests sitting in front, soojin looked at him with a bright sly grin, her free hand giving hyunjin a thumbs up while her other hand held shuhua's hand. youngmi was also there, smiling happily with her new boyfriend who happened to be a childhood friend of theirs, mrs. choi who sells berries with her husband that minho would never forget to invite, juyeon who was helping the other guests get settled and bowed politely at hyunjin upon meeting eyes, his smile genuine and happy. even changbin and jisung who wouldn't stop fighting day by day are sitting together and were laughing and having fun.

everyone looked happy, and hyunjin was too. seungmin had told so many stories of what it felt like when he married felix and he could understand it now. the way his eyes lit up, the way he couldn't stop saying how happy he was, hyunjin knew for sure it will be the same for him. he would never forget this day and he will treasure it for all his life.

the ceremony started and the three at the very end stood properly, the other guests also letting out small excited chatters. a black sports car came at the very end of the aisle and hyunjae, felix and jeongin got out, everyone whipped their heads towards their direction and gasped, seungmin even had to close hyunjin's jaw that hung open.

❝ i'll start walking now minho. ❞
felix softly caressed the older's hair with a warm smile, minho took in a deep breath and let go of the hand he held felix's and nodded his head.
❝ it's like watching my child grow up. ❞
hyunjae wiped a tear and minho lightly slapped his chest, he opened his arms to hug him and closed his eyes, burying his face in the older's chest.
❝ thank you for everything hyung. ❞
he whispered and hyunjae sighed, lightly stroking minho's head not wanting to mess up his hair.

they pulled apart and hyunjae nodded at felix before they started to walk together down the aisle and minho gripped onto jeongin's hand to steady his breathing. hyunjin stared at them in a trance, minho was quite far away but it didn't reside how pretty minho look and a dazed sigh could only escape his lips.
❝ he's beautiful. ❞
he whispered and seungmin sighed as well, his lips curling into a smile.
❝ yeah... ❞
he said quietly, locking eyes with felix who smiled at him as he walked down the aisle.

❝ i'm so happy for you hyung. ❞
jeongin said and held his brother's hand tighter. minho wiped the tears from his face while giggling, letting the younger also let out a breath of nervousness before he started to walk minho down the aisle.

hyunjin couldn't keep his eyes off of him, if magic really existed in this world, this moment would've been a proof. the way minho looked in his simple beauty, white suit, holding a bouquet of freshly bloomed peonies was beyond unreal to hyunjin's eyes. those things resided and minho's smile outshined everything he was wearing and where he walked. this became a wave of realization that hyunjin would finally get to spend his life with him, and the thought made him feel so happy, like colorful fireworks exploding in his heart, or the scent of spring's first day.
