❝ hyunjin, where are you going again? ❞
youngmi stopped him as he was on his way out the company that evening, he sighed and just kept walking clearly annoyed as always every time she gets in the way.
❝ hwang hyunjin answer me! ❞
she grabbed his shoulder and he faced her with a frustrated sigh.
❝ i'm meeting an old friend okay? we haven't seen each other in a while since he was abroad so please let us have some quality time and leave me alone. ❞
he said and walked off but she kept on following him.

❝ and who's this friend you're talking about? stop lying, you're always leaving earlier than usual and you've been acting weird. i'm onto you hwang hyunjin, if i find out— ❞

❝ you're so annoying. ❞
hyunjin snapped.
❝ i'm meeting daehwi okay? he just got back from the states and he said he wanted to catch up. ❞
hyunjin showed her his phone with his schedule for the day to which he added a schedule with his old friend daehwi who he lied about being back in korea but he had to have something to cover up his excuses. she sighed in defeat and went back to the company towards ehwa's office and hyunjin sighed of relief.

hyunjin went into his car, texting minho for a heads up since he was picking him up from work as usual. hyunjin left earlier for the day, he planned to spend some quality time with minho and probably take him out on a date for once, but of course he wouldn't ask directly or else it'll be more than just "work" for them.

he stopped by the shop minho worked at that time of day and waited outside for the older to finish his work. a few minutes passed and he saw minho smiling and waving at a couple of his coworkers and hyunjin got out the car and ran towards him, the older looking at him a bit surprised.
❝ you're early today. ❞
minho smiled and hyunjin chuckled.

❝ let's go somewhere, i wanna eat dinner with you. ❞
hyunjin said and minho smirked and went ahead to walk his way towards hyunjin's car.
❝ eat dinner with me or just eat me, choose one. ❞
minho said with a teasing smile as he opened the door of the car.
❝ why not both? ❞
hyunjin chuckled and minho rolled his eyes.

minho sat on the passenger's seat with his arms crossed and patiently waiting as hyunjin was driving.
❝ i know a lot of the best restaurants in seoul, i'll let you pick where we'll eat. ❞
hyunjin said and minho looked at him with a judging look on his face.
❝ don't want to, we're eating some place else. ❞
minho said leaving hyunjin confused.

minho dragged hyunjin to a convenience store and bought a basket of snacks and some ramen, a few drinks and candies that minho liked. they went back into the car and minho directed hyunjin to a small hill passing by the neighborhood where his small apartment was at. they walked up the hill, viewing the city with the sunset behind the buildings and minho smiled, letting out a breath of joy.

he set up a small blanket they bought earlier and hyunjin placed down the food they bought.
❝ jeongin and i used to have picnics here whenever he visited me. i miss him. ❞
minho said quietly, his eyes far off sighting the city now under the night and stars. hyunjin glanced at him, smiling to himself seeing the wind blowing onto minho's soft hair, his eyes far yet sparkling and he looked beautiful, very beautiful, that hyunjin couldn't help but feel his heart skipping a beat of warmth.

they started to eat and talked about random things, trying to get to know each other and laughing every once in a while.
❝ i'm surprised you didn't make me buy any alcohol. ❞
hyunjin said and minho let out a disgusted face.
❝ i actually hate it, bleck, my tolerance is so low that i forget things and act high when i'm tipsy. ❞
minho pouted making hyunjin chuckled at him.
❝ besides, strawberry milk is better. ❞
minho said and poked in a straw, starting to drink the tasty berry drink.

❝ i've been wondering, well, we haven't had sex yet. ❞ 
minho looked at hyunjin while sipping his strawberry milk and hyunjin laughed.
❝ why? do you want me to fuck you right now? ❞
hyunjin laughed again, minho blushed and shook his head.
❝ no no no it's just— isn't that why we're working with each other? i just can't help but overthink that you're paying me regularly but i haven't done much of my part of the deal. ❞
minho pursed his lips.

hyunjin glanced at him for a moment and he stared at minho's face, eyes scanning every inch and every detail before smiling.
❝ you are already doing most of your part of the deal. ❞
he said, not meeting minho's eyes.
❝ i like being with you, therefore you're already doing a good job. ❞
he said softly and minho couldn't help but process all the things he's hearing but he felt happy hearing that hyunjin liked his company.

they sat there in silence for a while, with minho wrapping himself up with the extra blanket since he was just wearing jeans and a t-shirt. hyunjin glanced at him who was watching the stars and smiled seeing how pretty he looked under the moonlight, he scooted silently over to him and reached out to tuck minho's hair behind his ear, making the older look at his direction.

hyunjin rested his hand on minho's cheek, leaning in a bit and breathing slowly. he stared at minho's lips for a split second and back to his eyes that had the warmest shade of brown that sparkled, he smiled before he closed the gap between their lips. a blush crept onto minho's cheeks, loving the way hyunjin was kissing him sweetly and their lips moved in sync as they kissed under the stars and cool night breeze.

they pulled apart, breathing slowly and faces flushed closely to one another. hyunjin stared at minho's eyes with a small sweet smile and the older turned his gaze away, feeling his entire face heating up. hyunjin stretched out and he let out a sigh.
❝ let's go? ❞
he asked and minho nodded his head before they started to clean up and place the stuff in the compartment of hyunjin's car.

hyunjin pulled minho by the waist and pressed their lips together again, with minho now wrapping his arms around the younger's neck. hyunjin swiped his tongue on minho's bottom lip and he opened his mouth, letting hyunjin slide his tongue in. hyunjin pulled him closer and with his other hand he opened the door of the backseat of his car, turning around to push minho gently on the backseat still kissing him. he pulled away and started to place kisses onto minho's neck, the older tangling his fingers onto hyunjin's hair. hyunjin sucked in on a spot, leaving a love mark making minho moan silently. a tugging feeling pulled on hyunjin's stomach and he felt butterflies hearing the sound being produced by minho's sweet voice.

he kissed his jaw and inserted his hand under minho's shirt, grazing on his warm and smooth skin making the older hitch a breath. hyunjin went back to connect their lips together and they kissed hungrily, with hyunjin pulling minho's shirt up and minho moaning every once in a while as hyunjin explored his mouth with his tongue. they abruptly stopped hearing hyunjin's phone ringing in his pocket and the younger let out a groan of frustration.

❝ i swear we always get interrupted! ❞
he complained and minho giggled underneath him.
❝ get over your horny ass and answer that. ❞
he said smiling and hyunjin got off him, bumping his head on the car roof making minho burst out laughing.

minho went out and sat on the passenger's seat as hyunjin answered the call. a few minutes passed and the younger sat on the driver's seat and smiled at minho before he started to drive.
hyunjin arrived at minho's apartment and minho unbuckled his seatbelt, he turned towards hyunjin with a small smile before leaning in to kiss him on the cheek.
❝ i had fun today, thank you. ❞
he said softly with a sweet smile making hyunjin's heart melt.
minho got off and waved goodbye as hyunjin left, still smiling and feeling happy inside, he really does feel genuinely happy when he's with hyunjin.
