Hogwarts express

you may hate me for this but this ones going to based on Olivia Rodrigo's new song drivers licence because I think it's great !

Readers pov: 

All the Slytherins (Daphene, Astoria, Draco, Blaise, Pansy and Theo) had decided to stay for Christmas for sixth year. They all sat down in the common room as an owl somehow got into the common room holding a letter even though their dorms were in the black lake. Pansy got up and took the letter not noticing it was addressed to Draco. 

"What is it?" Blaise asked looking at Pansy. 

"Hand it here!" Theo said putting his hand out. When she didn't pass it over he got up rolled his eyes and took it before sitting back down, "Addressed to our good friend here Draco Malfoy! It isn't Mr or Mrs Malfoys handwriting, who could it be from?" 

"Pass it over mate!" Draco said sternly recognising the handwriting. 

"How about no?" Theo said before laughing with Blaise as he ripped it open, a piece of parchment falling out. Blaise picked it up and started to read it making Draco's heart beat extremely fast. 

"Dear Draco, I'm sitting on the Hogwarts express going to the burrow for Christmas, not like you care. We planned for you to come back to my house for Christmas, remember? Going through the country getting close to your house, made me think of you. It made me realise that I'm not over you. Crying because you aren't here with me. And you're probably with that Astoria girl, she always made me doubt. She's so much more prettier and elegant than me, she's everything I'm insecure about. How could I love someone else?" Blaise spoke reading off the parchment, highly amused. 

"Let me read some of that!" Astoria's older sister, Daphne said tearing it out his hands and carrying on from where he left off, "And I know we weren't perfect but I've never felt like this for anyone else. I just cant imagine how you could be okay now that we aren't together? I guess you didn't mean all those times you said you loved me and what you wrote in the letters. Ginny's tired of hearing how much I miss you, I feel bad for her. Picturing that you are sitting next to me right now. Because you said forever now I'm alone on the Hogwarts express. Because I still fucking love you!!" 

Pansy took the letter knowing exactly who it's from as Draco had told Blaise, Theo and her when they were still together. Astoria took it from her making Pansy, Draco, Blaise and Theo's eyes widen. 

"From Hermione," Astoria said shocking herself and Daphene. 

"Fuck this!" Draco said before getting up and running away. He ran as long as he could until he was out of Hogwarts. He apparated  straight outside of kings cross station. He ran as fast as he could to the wall, "It'll still be closed!" 

He slid down the wall opposite of the one to get to the Hogwarts express. He would wait until Hermione came out of it. He looked around. He spotted a familiar couple. It was Hermiones parents! Hermione had shown Draco photos of them, they weren't moving at all which was strange. He got up and ran over to her. 

"Hello dear, may I help you?" Mrs Granger said looking at the boy that looked a familiar age to her daughter. 

"Mr and Mrs Granger?" Draco asked.

"That's us son," Mr Granger said looking at the boy. 

"I'm Hermione's boy- I'm Hermione's friend!" Draco said forgetting he still needed to talk things out with Hermione. 

"Are you Draco Malfoy?" Mr Granger asked. 

"Yes that's me, how did you know?" Draco asked confused and scared.

"Our Hermione is quite fond of you. You'd better sort things out with her!" Mrs Granger said softly smiling at him. 

"If you hurt her you'll have me to deal!" Mr Granger spoke sternly looking at the young adult. 

"Yes sir." Draco said quite scared by him. 

"Wendell!" Mrs Granger spoke to him a angry voice, "But yes, don't hurt Hermione! Also we'll let you sort things out with her, please tell her we will be in the car she'll know where we are."

"Yes ma'am," Draco said to her before the couple walked away holding hands. He waited Half an hour until people started to come through the brick wall. He was looking at the floor when Hermione came running through the wall. 

"Draco?" Hermione said in a soft voice confused as to how he got there. 

"Hermione!" Draco yelled before he ran over to her and gave her the biggest hug ever as tears came out of his eyes, "I am so sorry! I miss you! Will you please be my girlfriend again? I promise to never hurt you again!" 

"Yes Draco I will!" Hermione said before kissing her boyfriend.
