Chapter 13
Jason woke up exhausted, he felt like he got no sleep last night, however his memory felt a little hazy and he couldn't remember everything on the spot.
Jason "What the fuck happened last night?"
He then looked around the room and found himself sleeping on a chair in Violets apartment
Jason "Oh... That happened"
He then looked over to a mirror on Violets table, his hair looked wildy different than it used to be, his dark green hair was now unkempt at the front and his bangs now covered his right eye.
Jason "Did I do this? I guess I'll keep it"
He turned on his phone and saw that he had a bunch of missed calls and texts from Miranda asking him where he was.
Jason "Ah shit, I better go"
At was at this point that Violet finally woke up and came out of her room.
Violet "I hope the chair was comfy enough, you seemed really tired last night, I think that Taylor woman drugged you or something"
Jason "Yeah, I need to leave though, I kinda have to otherwise Miranda will flip her lid"
Violet "Oh no its fine"
He then made his way out the door and making his way towards HQ.
A thousand thoughts were going through Jason's mind, most of them were full of intrigue, what did Taylor do to him when they met? Did she have the same powers as well?
Gwen "You didn't come back last night, are you OK?"
Jason "Yeah, I'm perfect"
Gwen "Well.... ok..... I was thinking"
She then pulled Jason onto the sofa
Gwen "So... we have some time tonight, there's this restaurant I really like and I was thinking we could go... I mean it would be a nice change of pace"
Jason "Sounds.... lovely"
It was at that point that Kelly came into the room.
Kelly "Oh hey is Jason back?"
Kelly came bounding out her room and hugged Jason.
Kelly "We all wondered where you were and- oh nice hairstyle"
Jason "Oh thanks"
Kelly "It's much cooler than your last one, what do you think Gwen?"
Gwen "Yeah Definitely"
At that moment Miranda entered the dorm.
Miranda "Oh Jason thank god! Where have you been?"
Jason "I uh..."
Miranda "It doesn't matter right now, we need to get the rest of the team ready"
Jason and Kelly then got the rest of the team together in the main room.
Miranda "Alright so you know how Taylor Amaggio has connections to the gangs in Limbo, well we were able to find out where she's asked one of the gangs to be, and I think I know what she's after"
She then pulled out a diagram of a Ruby.
Miranda "The mark of Thanatos, now we have no idea why Taylor wants this, but we have a chance to get it before her"
Chris "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!"
Miranda "let's do this! Oh sorry Violet but you're gonna have to stay here"
