Ch. 42 "Crazy Idea"

                                                      Hayden POV 

My eyelids slowly fluttered open, The sunlight slightly peeking through the curtains, the plus side to what I did last night is I had no nightmares, 

Down side I've got a mega sized headache feels like Thor hit me in the head with his hammer, I thought 

I slowly sit up, looking around, 

How did I get here, the last thing I remember is wondering around the streets last night very very intoxicated, I thought 

I get out of bed and changed, I poke my head out of the room making sure no one is around, okay good all clear I thought 

I walk out of the room, I sneak down the stairs and just as I was about to leave the tower, 

"Going somewhere?" I hear 

I turned around to see Bucky, 

I just rolled my eyes just as I was about to leave, 

"Hayden," He said 

"What?" I said with a bit of attitude, 

"Your not leaving," He said 

"Watch me," I said about to leave 

I guess I should know better to give attitude to the X winter soldier, because that fast I'm slung over his shoulder, 

"Hey!! cut it out! I'm not a bag of lugging you block head!!" I said hitting him on his back 

"Who are you calling block head, shorty," He said 

"Bucky seriously!! cut it out!" I said kicking my legs and hitting his back with my fists, 

"Oh I don't think so, you are in big trouble about your actions yesterday, and you are going to explain," He said 

"Explain what," I said still hitting him on his back 

Finally set me down on my feet, 

I glared up at him, 

"Don't ever do that again!" I said 

"Maybe you'll think twice about sneaking out," He said 

I just rolled my eyes, 

I turn around to see well, everyone, oh boy, 

I just rolled my eyes about to walk out of the room, but Steve blocked me, 

"I don't think so," Steve said 

I let out a sigh rolling my eyes, 

"Hayden?" I turned around I crossed my arms, 

"What?" I said 

"What were you thinking yesterday?" Nat said 

"I don't know what you mean," I said 

"Oh you know damn well what we mean," Bucky said 

"I'm sorry I don't," I said giving Bucky attitude 

"Sneaking out in the middle of the night, getting flat out drunk," Tony said 

Everyone glared at him, 

"Whatever I don't need this," I said leaving the room only to be stopped by Nat and Clint, 

My back was to them, 

"Hayden talk to me, what is going on," Clint said 

"Nothing..." I said trying to convince myself more than them, 

I had my eyes closed, I holding in the tears that threatened to fall, 

"Just, leave me alone," I said walking off, 

I shut the door sliding down the door, brining my knees to my chest, my head is a mess from what they made me do, everything, I did, all the lives I took the screams that echoed in my ears, the cries, the destruction I caused, 

I look at the clock it is past midnight I've been locked in my room since the morning, 

There is only one thing I have to do, to get my head straight, 

I walked out of my room taking the elevator to the floor I'm looking for, I arrive to Fury's office 

I knocked before opening it, He looked surprised to see me, 

"Miss Chase what can I do for you?" He asked 

"I need a favor," I said sitting on one of the chairs across from his desk, 

"Oh," He said raising an eyebrow, 

"Fury since..." I touched my forehead, 

He nodded understood, 

"My head isn't on straight I need a favor," I said 

He nodded 

"Is it possible you can..." I hesitated 

"What is it?" He said leaning towards me from across his desk, 

"Can you freeze me like Bucky?" I asked 

His eye got wide, 

"Miss chase why would you want that?" he said 

"They made me do horrible things Fury! I don't trust myself here!" I said 

"I have nightmares I see what I've done I can't take it anymore!" I said 

"Why don't you sleep on it," He said 

"is that supposed to be a joke?" I said glaring at him, 

"Do I look like I'm joking," He said 

"Just sleep on it and come to me in the morning," He said 

I sighed nodding 

I walked out of the office going back to my room, 

                                 Fury POV 

"FRIDAY get Barton down here," I said leaning back in my chair 

"Of course sir," The AI said
