I was walking down the streets of Stars Hollow reading The Outsiders. I pulled my sweater closer to my body as the cold autumn air ran across my face. I heard someone scream my name from behind me. "Y/N!" I heard my sister's voice. I turned around and saw Rory. I smiled and she smiled back. "Hey," I told her. "Hey, where are you headed to?" Rory asked me. "Nowhere in particular," I told her. "Can I join?" She asked. I nodded my head. Me and Rory have always been super close, and our mom too. I was dating Tristan, he goes to the school that me and Rory go to. And Rory is dating Dean, it's not that I don't like him, he's just not my favorite person. Me and Rory started to walk to Luke's. ~~~~ When we got there we went in and sat at the counter. Luke walked over to me and Rory. "Hey, what can I get you?" Luke asked. "Coffee," Me and Rory said in sync. Luke rolled his eyes and got our coffee. A couple minutes past and I saw Tristan walk in. I smiled and he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and kissed my cheek. "Hey," I said to him. "Hey, you wanna go out tonight?" Tristan asked me. "Sorry, I can't," I said turning towards him. "What? Why?" He asked me. "We have a test tomorrow, I have to study," I told him. "Fine," He told me. I paid for my coffee and me and Tristan walked out. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and mine went around his waist, and I rested my head against his shoulder. "You didn't make plans, did you?" I asked him. "No, no, I was just wondering," He told me. I nodded my head. ~~~~ I was at home studying when mom came into mine and Rory's room. "Hey, Luke and his nephew are coming in a couple minutes," Mom told us. I nodded. Then Rory left to go talk to mom about something. I saw his boy about my age walk in. "Hey," I said to him. "Hey," He said dryly. I stood up. "I'm Y/N," I told him. "Figured," He told me. He went over to my books. "Well aren't we hooked. The Outsiders?" He asked, picking up my book from my dresser. "Yeah I read a lot, it's really good, you can borrow it if you want," I told him. "No thanks," He told me. "Do you read?" I asked him. "Not much," He said walking over to my windows. "Do these open?" He asked. "Yeah, you just un-lach it and pop the screen out," I told him. "Shall we?" He asked looking at me. "Shall we what?" I asked him. "Bail," He told me. "Uhm, no," I told him. "Why not?" He asked. "Because Sookie made a lot of delicious food," I said smiling. "Oh common," He insisted. "Well there's nowhere to bail too," I told him. "Fine, we'll sit on a bench and stare at our shoes," He said to me. "It'll be fun, I promise," I told him. "I don't even know you," He told me. "Don't I look trustworthy?" I asked him. He gave me a look. "Maybe." He said. "Common," I said walking out. I heard him following. We got our food and we went to sit out on the back deck. "So was it really that bad?" I asked him. "Yeah," He told me. He got up and smirked at me before walking away. I watched him walk away, but quickly looked back at my plate. You have a boyfriend Y/N. ~~~~ I was out picking up some more school supplies. I got it and started walking home. I heard someone walking next to me. "Hey," It was the guy from earlier, I never did get his name. "Hey yourself," I said back. "What are you doing?" He asked. "Getting stuff for school, what about you?" I asked him. "Yeah, yeah, same," He told me. I nodded. "Where you headed too?" He asked. "Home," I told him. "That was quite a disappearing act you pulled the other night," I told him. "Yeah, well it wasn't really my thing. And plus I have a lot of tricks," He told me. I slightly smiled. "Well I should get home," I told him. "Okay, okay, let me just leave you with one last trick," He told me as he pulled out The Outsiders. "You bought a copy? I told you I'd lend you mine," I told him. "It is yours," He said, giving it to me. "You stole my book?" I asked him. "Borrowed," He said shrugging. "Okay, that's not called a trick, that's called a felony," I told him laughing. "I just wanted to write some notes in the margins for you," He said. "What?" I asked looking through the book. There were so many notes. "You've read this before," I said looking up at him. "About 40 times." He said, nodding. "I thought you said you said you didn't read much," I asked him.

"Well, what is much?" He asked, shrugging his shoulders while slightly leaning back. I just looked at him. "Goodnight Y/N." He said, starting to walk away. "Goodnight Dodger!" I yelled back at him. He turned around. "Dodger?" He asked me. "Figure it out." I told him while walking away. "Oliver Twist!" I heard him yell. I turned around and nodded my head. I smiled and walked back home.
