Chapter Eight: The Wedding

Y/N's Pov
Me and Rory were getting ready for Sookie's Wedding. I was doing Rory's make up right now. After I did her's, she did mine. And then we did hair and stuff. Rory was wearing a blue dress, and I was wearing a purple one that was just above my knees.
At The Wedding~~
I was walked over to Tristan. We made up after his fight with Jess.
"Hey, you look good," He said kissing me quickly.
"Thanks, so do you," I told him.
He smiled.
"You want a drink?" He asked me.
I shook my head.
"Okay, I'll be back," He told me.
He went off doing whatever. I looked and saw Jess standing in the grass a ways back. I walked over to him.
"Hey," I told him.
"Hey, you look great," He told me.
"Thanks," I told him.
"Where's Tristan?" Jess asked me.
"Getting something to drink," I told him. He slowly nodded.
"You got your cast off?" He aksed pointing to my arm.
"Oh, uh, yeah," I told him.
"That's good," He told me.
I walked closer to him.
"You look good," He wispered.
"You already said that.." I wispered back.
I took a breath and leaned up and kissed him, resting my arms under his. He slowly started to kiss back resting his hand on my waist. He tried to deepen the kiss, but I started to pull back. He pulled me back in and I pulled away.
"Y/N," He started.
"Don't tell anyone," I told him.
He nodded.
"I'll be right back, please don't go anywhere," I told him.
"Okay," He told me.
I smiled before running off to find Tristan.
"Hey babe," He told me.
"I'm sorry," I said starting to tear up.
"What?" He asked.
"I lied to you. I lied about not having feelings for Jess. I lied about not liking him. And your right, because I kissed him," I started.
"What?!" He yelled.
"I'm sorry that I did it this way, but I can't be in this relationship, it's not fair to you, for me to drag you on. And I shouldn't be with you because it just wasn't meant to me," I rambled on.
"Am I not good enough for you?!" He shouted.
"No, no, no, this isn't your fault," I told him.
"It's that guy!! You chose him?" He aksed me.
"I'm sorry," I wispered.
He shook his head and walked off.
I looked back and saw Jess still in the same spot waiting for me. I took a breath and went back over to Jess. He looked up at me, and gave me a sad look. I noticed that I still had tears in my eyes. I quickly wiped them and ran over to Jess. He grabbed my hands pulling my close to him.
"Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Yeah," I nodded.
"What happened?" He asked me.
"I broke up with Tristan," I said looking into his eyes.
"You did?" He aksed. I nodded.
"Your definitely broken up with Tristan?" He aksed.
"I'm definitely broken up with Tristan," I told him.
"Good.. because I've been waiting a long time to do this," He told me.
He leaned to my level and kissed my lips. I kissed back wrapping my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. We started to make out, and I slowly pulled back.
"I have to go.." I told him. He nodded.
"Bye," He told me.
"Bye.." I wispered as he let go of me.
I turned around and walked back to where mom and Rory were.
At Home~~
I was laying in my bed when mom came in.
"Mom?" I asked, she sat on my bed.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"I kissed Jess, and broke up with Tristan.." I told her.
"What?" She asked.
"I couldn't take it anymore, I'm sorry, " I told her.
"Oh hon, it's alright," Mom told me.
I nodded.
"I'm gonna go to bed.. g'night mom," I told her.
"G'night," She said walking out.
I layed down and closed my eyes.
4 am~~
I woke up to someone knocking on my window. I looked over and saw Jess. I got up and opened my window, and popped the screen out. Mom had made me put the screen in.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about the kiss," He told me.
I smiled.
"Can I come in?" He aksed.
"Yeah," I nodded and he walked in.
We sat on my bed.
"So..?" He asked.
"I don't wanna rush," I told him.
"Rush what?" He asked me.
"Our relationship, I mean I just got out of a relationship that I was in for two years. I just.. don't wanna go fast, I just wanna take things slow," I told him.
"I understand," He told me.
"Thank you," I told him.
"Your welcome," He told me.
"Jess?" I asked him.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Can you stay?" I asked him.
"Of course," Jess told me.
I smiled. He kicked off his shose and took off his jacket. I layed down. He slowly went on top of me and kissed me slowly. I kissed back holding the back of his head. His hands traced down and wrapped around me gently and slightly picking me up. I sat up sitting in his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck while we made out. I slowly pulled away. He smiled and I got off of him and layed down. He layed down next to me and wrapped his arms around me. I barried my head against his chest and closed my eyes.
