I really have nothing to say about this chapter. But enjoy!
Y/N's Pov
I was at home, gosh, it feels so weird that I have my own home. But anyways, I was doing homework. I had to write an essay on a book we read in English Class. It was a good book, and Ive read it before, so it wasn't to hard. I heard my phone ring, and I picked it up.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey," It was Logan.
"Hey," I said.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm writing an Essay," I said.
"Well can you take a break?" He asked.
"Depends," I said.
"Have you heard about the Life or Death Brigade?" He asked.
"Yeah, I read about that," I said.
"Would you like to come check it out?" He asked.
"Your a member?" I asked shocked.
"Yeah, I am," He said.
"That's cool. And I'd love to," I said.
"Great I'm outside," He said.
"Now?" I asked.
I got up and looked out my window.
"Get your stuff Spades," He said.
"Spades?" I asked.
"It's the best card in the deck," He said.
I smiled and put on my shoes, and jacket. I hung up the phone, and put it in my pocket. I walked outside and saw a white fan. Logan stepped out.
"You'll need to wear this," He handed me a blind fold.
"Is it that secret that I have to wear a blindfold?" I asked.
He put it on me, and directed me to the car. I held onto Logan's shoulder basically the whole time, not wanting to fall over.
I felt the car stop.
"Are we here?" I asked.
"Yep," Logan said.
He lead me out of the car, and took off my blind fold.
"Wow," I said.
Logan grabbed something from the car.
"Here," He said handing me a white box.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Your supposed to open it," Logan said.
I opened the box, it was a dark purple dress, it has long sleeves, and was flowery.
"Wow, Logan, this is beautiful," I said.
"Go put it on," He said.
"Now?" I asked.
He nodded, and let me to a tent. I changed into it and put on the matching purple shoes. I walked out.
"How does it look?" I asked.
"Great Spades," He said.
"You know I'm starting to grow on that nickname," I told him,
"I'm glad," He said.
Then I saw this big building type thing, there were people up there holding umbrellas.
"What is that?" I asked.
"That is the main event," Logan said.
"What are they gonna do?" I asked.
"What do you think there gonna do?" He asked.
"There not gonna jump," I said.
"There gonna jump!" Logan smiled.
"That's like 7 stories, they'll die," I said.
"We're all gonna die one day," He said.
"But those 4 are gonna today," I said
"Six," He corrected.
"I see four," I said.
"I'm headed up," He said.
"Of course you are," I said.
"Finn was supposed to do it, but he didn't make it this far, so there's an extra space," she said.
"Hmm," I said looking up.
He looked at me.
"What? No, no, no," I said waving my hands.
"Hey we're not gonna die, no one in the life and death brigade has ever died," Logan told me.
"I came to see it. Not to experience it," I said.
"The best way to see things is to experience them," Logan said.
"Okay, but.." I started.
"Your scared," He said.
"Yes! Well look!" I said pointing to it.
"Most people can live a hundred years without really living for a minute, you jump with me and it's one less minute you've lived," He said.
"Okay, let's go," I said.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"Yep," I said.
He showed me to the leader.
"You know I'm not a big fan of ladders, I feel like I'm gonna fall off," I said.
"I'm not a fan of em either," Logan said.
I started to climb up, with Logan following me. We climbed up to the top, and I looked down.
"Wow," I said.
"I've been up higher," He said.
We walked over, and they put a piece of fabric around my waist.
"Don't worry, it's perfectly safe," The guy said.
"Then why do they look so worried?" I asked.
"They've had too much to drink," Logan said.
He offered me a hand.
"You trust me?" He asked.
I took his hand.
"You jump, I jump Jack," I said as we jumped, and I felt my grip on his hand tighten.
We hit the ground, and I smiled.
"You did great spades," Logan smiled.
I leaned up and kissed him, and I felt him kiss back. I pulled away.
"What was that?" He asked.
"A kiss," I said.
He brought me in for another short kiss. We pulled back, and I looked into his eyes.
"What happened to your not ready?" He asked me.
"I don't know," I shrugged.
"Your ready?" Logan asked.
"I think so," I nodded.
"Do you wanna get outta here?" Logan asked.
"Sure," I smiled.
We went to the car, and got in.
"What about the guys? How are they gonna get back?" I asked.
"Eh, they'll go home with one of the girls," Logan smirked.
"Okay," I said, as he started the car.
"So.. where too?" He asked.
"Doesn't matter to me," I said.
"Do you wanna go back to your place?" Logan asked me.
"If you want," I said.
"I do want," He smiled.
"Okay," I said.
We started to drive, and I turned on the radio. 'City Of Angles by The Distillers' came on.
"You like The Distillers?" Logan asked.
"Yeah, there one of my favorites," I said.
"Really? I haven't met many girls that like The Distillers," Logan said.
"Well I'm not like many girls," I said.
"I didn't think that for a second," He said glancing over to me.
"So.. tell me about your self," He said.
"Well what do you wanna know?" I asked.
"Are you a virgin?" He asked.
"No," I said.
"Have you broken any bones?" He asked.
"No, but I fractured my wrist when I was 17," I said.
"How?" He asked.
"I got into a car accident with my ex boyfriend," I said.
He laughed.
"It wasn't funny," I laughed.
"Okay," He nodded.
"Hobbies?" He asked.
"I love to read," I said.
"What's your favorite book?" He asked.
"Either The Outsiders, or A Walk to Remember," I said.
"What about you? I wanna know about you," I said.
"Um.. there's not much to know," He said.
"Have you broken any bones?" I asked.
"When I was 14, I was ridding my skateboard, and I fell and broke my elbow," He said.
"You broke your elbow? How do you brake your elbow?" I laughed.
"I don't know, but I skinned it bad too," He said.
"How many time have you done it?" I asked.
"Your just assuming that I'm not a virgin?" He asked.
"Yes," I nodded.
"Fine, like 8 times," He said.
"8?" I asked.
He nodded.
"Wow," I said.
"What about you?" He asked.
"Once," I said.
He nodded.
"What's the hardest thing you've ever went through?" He asked.
'Jess' I thought to myself.
"Growing up without my dad being there," I said.
He nodded.
"What about you?" I asked.
"Having my father chose everything that I do in my life," He said.
"I would like that. Having your future already planned out, you don't have to worry about your future," I said.
"It's not as good as it sounds," Logan rolled his eyes.
"Really?" I asked as we pulled up to my apartment.
"Yeah," He said.
We got out of the car.
"It's not very nice," I said and we went inside.
We walked up the stairs, and I unblocked my apartment, and we went inside. I closed the door, and put my bag on the couch.
"Hey, Y/N," Logan said.
I turned around.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I don't know how to be a boyfriend. I've never been a boyfriend," He said.
"Then we can go back to just being friends," I said.
"I don't wanna be just friends with you," He said.
He rested his hands on my waist and kissed me. I kissed back, and we pulled away.
"I know you can do that but," I started but he kissed me again.
"If I say I can do this, then I can do this," He said.
"Okay," I smiled.
"I think I'm going to be a very good boyfriend," He said kissing me again.
"I think so too," I smiled.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as we kissed. We walked to my bedroom and he layed me down. He climbed ontop of me and rested his arms on the bed, and wrapped his arms around me. I slowly pulled away.
"Hey spades," He said.
"Hi Jack," I said.
He smirked at my nickname. We sat up.
"I'm sorry to break this up, but I have my essay to write," I told him.
"Okay," He said.
I walked him to my door.
"Call me tonight," He said.
"Will do," I smiled, and he walked out.
I smiled to myself and went back to my room. I grabbed my phone and called mom.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Hey mom," I smiled.
"Y/N! Hey, how are you?" She asked.
"Good, good, but I did meet this guy," I started.
"Oh do tell," Mom said.
"His name is Logan," I said.
"Ooo, a blond?" She asked.
"How'd you know?" I asked confused.
"All Logan's are blond," She said.
"Mm," I said.
"Soo.. you guys are together?" She asked.
"Yeah," She said.
"Your over Jess?" Mom asked.
I stayed quiet for a minute.
"No.." I said.
"What?" She asked.
"But I will be soon," I said.
"Hon.. you can't date a guy if your not over the other guy," She said.
"I really like Logan," I said.
"Well it's not fare to Logan that your not over Jess," Mom said.
"Well maybe I am over Jess! But I'm still mad at him!" I yelled.
"Of course," Mom said sarcastically.
I hung up the phone. I put it on my bedside table and closed my eyes, laying down.
