I decided, and relized that sad things do happen in life, even though you don't want them to. And I think that I might have Y/N date Logan for a while? Because we can't all have a perfect life.

Luke's Pov
I was working in the diner, and Jess still wasn't down here. I sighed and walked upstairs. His stuff.. his gone? What the hell.
"Jess?" I called.
I groaned and saw a piece of paper on his bed. I picked it up.
Dear Luke,
I'm sorry for leaving, but I had to. Please tell Y/N that I'm sorry, and that I never wanted to hurt her.
I sighed. I walked down and to Lorelai's house.
When I got there, I saw her and Y/N in the kitchen. I tryed to get her at your waving, she didn't see me. She turned and looked at me. I motioned for her to come outside, and she went out.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
"Y/N's in there, and I need to tell you something," I said.
"What is it?" She asked.
"Jess is gone," I said.
I handed her the note that Jess had written. She put her hand over her mouth.
"And I don't think he's coming back. His stuff is all gone," I said.
"What are we supposed to do?" I asked.
"Well Y/N said she's going to the diner to see Jess tonight," Lorelai told me.
"Well he's not there," I said.
"And I think she's gonna notice that Bender isn't there," She said, and I surprisingly caught her Breakfast Club reference. (If you haven't seen the Breakfast Club, highly recommended!)
"She's gonna be so heartbroken," Lorelai said.
"I know, I'm so sorry but I have to go," I said walking away.
Y/N's Pov
I was drinking coffee, and saw mom walk in. She looked sad, and mad, she was smad.
"Hey hon," She said sitting down.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm going to tell you something, and you have to promise not to overreact," She said.
"I won't," I laughed.
"Jess is gone," She said.
"What?" I asked.
"He's gone hon, and I don't think he's coming back," Mom said.
I looked down.
"Oh.." I said.
"I'm really sorry," She said.
I shook my head.
"No.. it's alright," I told her, looking up at her.
"Honey, it's not alright," Mom said with a sad look.
"It's alright, okay?!" I yelled getting up and running to my room.
I had college applications sitting on my desk. I applied to Harvard, Yale, and Boston. I grabbed the Harvard letter and opened it. I didn't get in, it's not my dream school anyways. I really wanna go to Boston. I opened Yale, surprise, I got in!! I smiled, and opened Boston. Yesss!! I got into Boston! I heard a knock.
"Come in," I said.
Mom came in.
"What's that?" She asked pointing to the papers in my hand.
"I got into Yale, and Boston," I said.
"Boston?" She asked.
"Yeah," I smiled.
"That's great hon," She said kissing my cheek, and bringing me into a hug.
"Thanks," I said.
"So..?" She asked.
"Well.. graduation is in 2 weeks," I shrugged.
Then my phone started ringing.
"Hello?" I asked.
I didn't hear anything.
"Hello?" I asked a second time.
I still didn't hear anything, so I hung up.
"What was it?" Mom asked.
I shrugged.
"No one was there," I said.
"Oh," She smiled.
I nodded.
"Hey.. I think I'm gonna take a nap," I told her.
"Okay," Mom said before walking out, and closing the door behind her.
I sat on my bed, and layed down. How could Jess just leave like this? I mean he didn't even tell me he was thinking about leaving. I just lost my virginity to the guy, and he decided to leave me. I sighed, and heard my phone ring.
"Hello?" I asked.
I didn't hear anything.
"Hello?" I asked.
Is it Jess?
"Jess? Is that you?" I asked.
I didn't hear anything.
"Please say something," I said.
"I hope your doing okay," I said.
I still didn't hear anything, so I hung up the phone. I layed down on my bed, closed my eyes and softly cried. I draped my arms over my head. He was gone. Jess was gone. My Jess was gone. I really thought I loved him, and I really thought that he loved me. But I guess I was wrong. I sighed and rolled over so that I was on my side. I closed my eyes trying to fall asleep.
