Chapter 18

Mag hahapon na ng makabalik ako sa restaurant. Binabagabag pa din ako ng sinabi ni Lilith but I trust Dark. When he said he will not let anyone hurt us, I know he will. Pinilit ko alisin sa utak ko ang sinabi ni Lilith at ginawa ang naudlot ko na gawain kanina.

Dumami muli ang tao kaya naging abala ulit kami sa pag kuha ng orders at pag seserve. Karamihan sa mga pumupunta sa restaurant namin ay mga kilalang tao sa ibat ibang larangan. Lumipas ang oras hanggang sa namalayan ko na lang na oras na pala ng pag sasara.

My friends are still here, sabi nila sasamahan na nila ako hintayin si Dark habang ang mga tauhan namin ay umuwi na para mag pahinga. I tell them what happened on Dark's company including what Lilith said and they were all shocked.

"What if she's telling the truth?" I asked them.

"What if she's not?" Carmela asked me while looking so serious. "Maybe trap niya lang yun. You know she's with Eljun so why would she do that?"

Napaisip ako. Tama. She left Dark for Eljun that means she's in love with Eljun. But she's a gold digger. Natural na sa kung saan may pera doon siya kakampi at si Dark yun. Si Dark ang may pera. Nangunot ang noo ko pero nanatiling tikom ang bibig.

"Don't think about it too much. She's lying." Carmela smiled at me assuring me that everything is fine so I smiled back bago tinuloy ang pag iisip.

I heard Chantelle fake cough. Nabibigatan na siguro sa aura."Why don't you get ready. Dark will be here in a few minutes right?" Biglang nanlaki ang mata ko ng maalala na may date pa nga pala kami ni Dark. Dali dali akong nag retouch but this time I made sure that my make up is good. Walang lagpas na lipstick.

After retouching my make up nakatanggap ako ng text kay Dark na malapit na siya. I go outside to wait for him with my friends. Nag usap usap pa kami about sa kung ano anong bagay hanggang sa nakarinig kami ng busina mula sa labas. Nakaramdam ako ng panic pero mabilis ko kinalma ang sarili para di mahalata ni Dark. Tumayo ako at sinalubong si Dark ng may ngiti sa labi.

"Sorry for making you wait." He said as he put his hand on my waist.

"No its fine." I told him.

"Thank you for helping us today. I'll treat you one of this days if I'm not busy." Ibinaling niya ang atensyon sa mga kaibigan ko na sabay sabay umiling.

"You don't have to do that. Just take care of Altaira." Chantelle said and winked at me.

"Yeah." Carmela and Allynna agreed.

"Of course I will." He then looked at me. "Let's go?" Tumango ako at sabay sabay kaming lumabas but we all ride a different cars. I ride with Dark of course, we have a date.

"So where are we going?" I asked him when he started driving the car to wherever we will go.

"You'll see later." He chuckled.

"Oh come on Dark kanina mo pa sinasabi yan can't you just tell me please?" I plead pero tinawanan niya lang ako.

"Malalaman mo din mamaya, be patient Altaira para naman hindi halatang gustong gusto mo akong makasama sa date." He teased me.

"If I have a choice to be with you or with someone on a date I won't be here." Nag kunware akong bored kahit pa mag uusok na ang mukha ko sa init.

"I'm glad no one asked you to go out and have a dinner with them." This man is full of confidence that made me want me to frown but instead my lips formed a smile. Traydor na labi.

"Yeah yeah whatever." I heard his phone rang kaya sinagot niya ito at inilagay sa loudspeaker.

"All set master." Hercules said.
