Chapter 13

6 months passed, sobrang sumikat ang restaurant namin ni Dark dahil karamihan sa friends ko na model pinopost sa instagram nila ang picture nila in our restaurant tagging us without asking anything in return.

Our plan na sa Bituin cove itayo ang restaurant changed dahil may nakita kaming perfect spot sa city. We are surounded by building and companies kaya mas madaling mapuntahan.

I feel so happy dahil nabawi agad namin ang nagastos sa pag papatayo pa lang nito. Naging patok din ang specialty ko na Potato Chicken. Dark already moved back at his condo but before he left he promised us na at least once a week dito siya matutulog since mom and dad really liked him.

Ever since that night na nalaman ko na pupunta siya kasama namin sa party na hinanda ni Porsia palagi ko siyang kinukulit kung ano ang dahilan pero palagi niya lang din sinasabi na mag hintay daw ako o kung hindi man tatawanan lang ako.

But now the long wait is over. Bukas na gaganapin ang party na iyon and now I am here in one of the designer's office inside our company together with my friends para kunin ang gowns namin, ako din ang nautusan na kumuha ng tuxedo nila dad. My friends family are also into business and they got invited to go to Porsia's party. I actually can't wait to know dad and Dark's plan. Kung pwede ko lang iadjust ang oras gagawin ko, pero hindi eh. I have to wait for few more hours.

After namin makuha ang gowns and tuxedo napag kasunduan namin na pumunta ng mall para mamili ng purse and jewelries na babagay sa gowns namin, we didn't shop that long because its already 6 pm and we all need beauty rest so we go home early. Nothing interesting happened tonight, Dark refused to stay here tonight that's why kami kami lang pamilya ang kumain. After that I take a beauty rest.

The next morning I just visit our restaurant for 1 hour and made sure everything is fine before I go home and get ready for tonight. I ate salad for my lunch at saktong dumating ang hair and make- up stylist namin. My gown is maroon venus cut with a long slit in my left leg. It's not so elegant because the crystal beads and the sequins on it are just enough to make it look simple but stunning. They did soft red smokey eyeshadow and nude lipstick and curled my hair. To complete the look kinuha ko ang black high heels ko and silver clutch bag ko.

"Altaira you look so pretty anak." Mom praised me.

I smiled at her. "Thanks mom. You look fabulous as ever mommy, mana talaga ako sayo." We both laughed.

"Everyone it's time to go. Baka ma traffic pa tayo at malate sa party." I look at my father.

"Dad, hindi ba natin hihintayin si Dark? I thought he will come with us."

"Anak alam ko na mahal mo si Dark pero wag mo siya alalahanin dahil nag sabi siya sa akin na hindi siya sasabay sa atin." Pinamulahan ako ng mula dahil sa sinabi niya. Tumayo ako at sumunod na kay dad papunta sa sasakyan while typing a message for Dark.

Akala ko sasabay ka sa amin but anyway drive safely huh? See you later.

Nakarating kami sa venue at sobrang daming tao ang nandoon. Puro naka mask since masquerade party nga ito. Tumingin ako sa paligid para hanapin si Dark but I can't see him. In our big round table kasama namin ang pamilya ni Chan, Carmela at Ally and they look so happy dahil ang dami daw pogi, di na nag bago hay nako. Nag simula na ang party pero hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa din nakikita si Dark. I keep on texting him pero hindi siya sumasagot. Pinakita sa aming lahat na nandito ang lahat ng success ng mga naging pinuno ng kumpanya and I can say its very impressive. I wonder if Dark became the CEO of this company will it be succesful as it is?

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen." I saw a lady standing in the stage holding a microphone speaks, she's probobly Porsia. "As you all know my husband made this company more successful compared on how it used to be. He did everything para makilala ang Villalino Corporation at parang napilayan ang kumpanya ng mawala siya." I rolled my eyes when I saw how Porsia wiped his cheeks na wala namang luha.

"After this night, we will have our newest CEO but before I announce it I just want you all to raise you glass first for my son, Eljun and his girlfriend, Lilith for being engaged." I raised my glass kahit gustong gusto ko na itong ibato sa Lilith na hindi naman kagandahan gold digger lang pati kay Porsia na ang daming sinasabi di na lang mamatay. "Alright. Now according to my deceased husband's last will and testament, my son Eljun Villalino will inherit everything including this company."

Everyone around us clapped and congratulate them except us in this table. Hindi ako si Dark pero sobrang galit ang nararamdaman ko ngayon. I took my phone out of my clutch bag and was about to type a message for Dark when he suddenly text me.

Mag tatype pa lang sana ako ng reply pero namatay ang lahat ng ilaw. Everybody is confuse on what is happening including me and my friends pero yung pamilya namin kalmado lang at hindi nag lalabas ng reaction. Nag bukas ang projector sa sa stage and nag play ang video kung saan makikita si Porsia at Eljun.

"Is that the last will and testament of that old man?" Eljun asked his mom.

"It's the fake one. Hindi ko alam kung may totoong last will na sinulat si Alexander . Pero kung meron man sisiguraduhin ko na hindi yun makikita ni Dark." Porsia laughed like a crazy woman. Nakakakilabot.

"Bakit kasi hindi mo muna sinigurado ang lahat bago mo siya pinatay?"

"Wag mo na masyadong isipin yon. Ang mahalaga patay na siya at ikaw ang mag mamana ng lahat na naiwan niya."

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING? MAKE IT STOP!" Porsia became furious and started shouting at her people telling them to stop the video.

"Just make sure na ako ang mag mamana ng lahat. Ayokong panandalian lang ang kaligayahan ko mama. Nababaliw ako pag naagaw ang gusto ko." He smirked. What are they? Family from a mental hospital?

"WHO THE FUCK PLAYED THAT? SECURITY! HANAPIN MO ANG NAG PLAY NGAYON NA!" No one moved.

"DON'T YOU HEAR MY MOTHER? FIND WHO PLAYED IT! MGA HAMPAS LUPA!" Kinwelyohan ni Eljun ang isa sa mga security guard pero wala pa din gumagalaw. Akmang susuntukin na ni Eljun ang security ng biglang mag salita.

"It's been a long time." Hinanap ng boses ko ang pinagmulan ng boses na iyon. "Stepmother."
