Chases POV:
I didn't now when Alisa said she had other plans that this is what she meant.
This is probably the worst time I could've been seeing Charli.
I don't know if she remembers a year ago today but I sure do.
It's been really awkward with her around and we are forced to talk to each other and to make it even more awkward Tyler just told her he loves her.

Charlis POV:
He really couldn't have chosen a worse time to say this for the first time.
Charli: "I love you too"
But I'm gonna say it back because it's true. I do love him.

After that i looked over at chase and he seemed to be fine.
Charli: "ok anyways, can we order I'm hungry"
Tyler: "yeah okay."
We called the waiter to come over and he came
Charli: "can I get some pasta"
Waiter: "ok, is that it for you?"
Charli: "yeah"
Everyone else ordered
Tyler: "I really need to go to the bathroom"
Alisa: "yeah same."

I didn't wanna be alone with chase at the diner table
Tyler: "there's only 2 bathrooms. But you can go after me?"

They left and we both sat there.
Waiting for someone to say something.
Chase: "so...anything new going on with you..?"
Charli: "not really..."
Chase: "what happened with your business...that you started awhile ago..."
Charli: "...I didn't get to finish it...I just kinda realized that the only reason that the teacher thought I had "talent" was because he wanted to fuck me. So I gave up after that..."
Chase: "what??"
Charli: "what?"
Chase: "Charli you are talented some people out there are just messed up. I don't think you should let that get in the way of what you want"
Charli: "l don't know."
Chase: "you can start it by yourself, you don't need a stupid course to do it."
Charli: "yeah I guess you are right"
Chase: "I am right"
for a second there it felt like old times.
It felt like nothing had changed.
But then it went back to before....awkward
After a bit of not talking Alisa and Tyler came back.
Charli: "ok well I'm ready to leave. I'm not feeling well."
Tyler: "great, yeah actually I'm ready to leave too."
Charli: "ok let's go."
Tyler: "actually Charli... I'm so sorry but I was hoping that Alisa could stay in our dorm tonight"
Charli: "yeah she can stay but where am I gonna sleep?"
Tyler: "...do you mind staying in chases  dorm tonight...."
No way is he doing this to me-
Charli: "well I'm sure chase wouldn't want me staying there. So it's okay."
Alisa: "hey chase, you won't mind letting charli sleep in your dorm tonight would you?"
Chase: "...of course not... Charli you are welcome to stay..."

Charli: "thanks..."
Tyler: "anyways We are gonna get going now...so bye 👋 "
Charli: "bye...😐"
They left and chase and I just sat there silently.
Chase: "so..."
Charli: "our dates our real assholes right"
Chase: "yep😂"
Charli: "I mean, how could this get worse. My boyfriend left me alone at a restaurant on our anniversary !!🤣🤣 with my ex boyfriend!!!🤣🤣 And to make it even worse it's the one year anniversary of our break up😃🤣🤣!!"
Chase: "are you okay?"
Charli: "yeah!! I'm completely fine!!😃"
Chase: "you sure?"
Charli: "yeah!! I'm fine!!"
Chase: "I think we should go back. Let's go."

Chases POV:
Well looks like she does remember when we broke up.
She got out of her seat and we left.
We got in her car and she drove back to
The school.
We got out of the car and went to my dorm.
We went inside.

Charlis POV:
When I went inside the dorm all of them memories came flowing back. It's only been a year but it feels like so much longer then that.
I sat on the bed.
Charli: "what do you think they are doing?"
Chase: "fucking"

Chase: "oh Charli, you're so clueless"
Charli: "what."
Chase: "you actually think they are siblings?"
Charli: "yeah."
Chase: "to be honest I think that alisas tylers side chick"

Chase: "no. I mean the signs are pretty clear, they went to the bathroom together. They came back at the same time. They wanted you to stay here tonight so that she could stay in your dorm alone ."
Charli: "well if you think that then why didn't you say anything?!"
Chase: "relax I'm just kidding."
Charli: "oh"
Chase: "but now that I think about it, it kinda makes sense."
Charli: "shut up😐"
Chase: "😂"
I looked down at my tattoo
Charli: "so much for these tattoos right😂"
Chase: "well they could be friendship tattoos"
Charli: "we aren't even friends"
Chase: "we should be"
Charli: "why aren't we?"
He sat beside me
Chase : "I don't know. After the break up it just wasn't the same, I was heartbroken. You were with Tyler. If we stayed friends we'd be back together within a week"
Charli: "yeah probably. We were inseparable"
Chase: "yep."
Charli: "but you know. I'm happy that we've both moved on. It was the best for the both of us."
Chase: "yeah. I agree"
Charli: "but sometimes I wish we had one more night together"
Chase: "what do you mean."
Charli: "I don't know. Never mind. I just haven't gotten any action in months."
Chase: "so what are you saying?"
Charli: "nothing. Never mind it would be stupid"
Chase: "I mean, I don't think it's stupid."
I looked down and his hand was on my leg.
Fuck. This is bad.
Charli: "we can't do this"
Chase: "..."
Charli: "right?"
Chase: "it would be stupid."
Charli: "yeah I agree"

Chase: "but if we did...you know...do it... it would just be a one time thing..."
Charli: "yeah...just a one night stand."
Chase: "yeah."
Charli: "soo like...should we..?"
