Charlis POV:
What is wrong with me.
Why did I have that dream?
The more important question is why did I enjoy it?
I didn't even realize I fell asleep, the dream felt so real.
Ok, maybe I'm overanalyzing this.
It was just a dream it wasn't real, dreams don't mean anything. It was my subconscious, I can't control what it does. It was probably just because I hang out with chase a lot-
Chase: "Charli open the door!"
Oh-
I walked over to the door and opened it.
Chase: "finally. What took you so long."
Charli: "sorry I was just lost in my thoughts.
Chase: "ok- what were-"
I cut him off
Charli: "how was the date?"
Chase: "it went really well surprisingly"
Charli: "that's great"
I thought I'd be happier to hear that to be honest.
Charli: "tell me about it"
Chase: "we first went to a restaurant.
Then we went to see a movie."
Charli: "interesting"
Chase: "mhm.... how was your "date"...."
I rolled my eyes
Charli: "actually it was okay."
I grabbed the money out of my pocket.
Chase: "holy-"
Charli: "tell me you wouldn't do this for this amount of money. You gotta be honest"
Chase: "Yeah, not gonna lie. I'd do it. How much you got?"
Charli: "one thousand five hundred"
Chase: "Woah."
Charli: "yep. Not too Shabby"
Chase: "why did you even do it tho. I get why a poor person would do it but you're definitely not poor"
Charli: "I needed cash"
Chase: "you know there's something called an atm"
Charlie: "I know. But I didn't feel like using one"
he rolled his eyes.
uh whats he complaining about now?
Charli: "what now?"
Chase: "sometimes it just seems like you wanna hurt me."
what?
Charli: "what are you talking about?"
Chase: "do you even like me?"
Why- why would he even ask that?? I do not like him. I do not have feelings for him
Charli: "what- no."
Chase: "I meant as friends, my god"
Oh-...
Charli: "yeah I guess"
Chase: "then why do you always have to do somethings controversial? if you are gonna do something like that again then next time do it in another room somewhere where I cant walk in on you."
Charli: "fine"
Chase: "do you think it's easy for me to see you with someone else. Even if it doesn't mean anything."
Charli: "no..."
Chase: "then why do you do it?"
Charli: "I didn't know you where gonna walk in"
Chase: "but you didn't even think of what would have happened if I did."
Charli: "..."
I guess he is sorta right. I'm probably the worst friend anyone could ever have. I don't ever think before I do something, and that always puts me in bad situations.
Chases pov:
Charli: "am I a terrible friend?"
Chase: "yes"
Charli: "Figured"
yeah. I'm not gonna even lie, me and her both know shes a terrible friend. not just too me but to everyone shes friends with. I'm sure she takes no offense when i say that because I'm just stating what she already knows. She's not loyal to any of her friends. She randomly ghosts them for months and comes back to them when she's bored. It's pretty sad.
someone knocked at the door. I walked over to answer it and it was Janet.
Janet: "you forgot your jacket at my place"
Not mine-
Chase: "that's not mine?"
Janet: "Oh. must be my roommates. sorry"
whos her roommate? I didn't see a roommate.
Janet: "ok. I was totally lying. I just wanted a reason to come back over here and talk to you"
oh- that's nice.
I laughed and opened the door wider signaling her to enter.
she smiled and she walked in
Chase: "I was just over at your place, i did not see a roommate?"
Janet: "he was out"
he?
Janet: "oh don't worry, we arent dating or anything. he has no interest in dating me. he's getting over a bad break up"
Chase: "... I wasn't worried"
janet: "Mk, well his names Jaxson. I'm sure you guys would be friends"
no
it cant be-
that would be a 1 in a million conscience. there's absolutely no way in hell that she is talking about that jaxson. It can't be, right?
Chase: "by any chance did he mention who the breakup was with or when it was?"
Janet: "he did not mention who, but he the breakup was a few days ago. he recently moved back in with me after around 5 months of living somewhere else."
i- oh my god. the chances- it's him. i looked behind me and charli was listening-
she looked shocked.
Janet: "are you guys okay? you look like you just saw a ghost"
She said laughing
Janet: "do you guys know him or something?"
Charli: "you are friends with that bastard?"
Janet: "What?"
Chase: "Charli, calm down. Im sure shes not friends with him"
Janet: "of course he's my friend. He's my roommate."
Charli: "how can you be friends with such a heartless m-"
I cut her off
Chase: "Charli. Please. Calm down"

Janet: "do you guys know him??"
Little does she know.
Chase: "yep"
Janet: "oh really how-"
Charli: "we... dated for a bit..."
janet: "oh- you're-"
Charli: "yep..."
janet: "I'm so sorry i should have-"
Charli: "no... its fine. id rather not talk about it."
janet: "understood"

Charlis POV:
how did i not know about this. oh my god. we dated for a good 5 months and he never mentioned where he lived before he came here?? this is so confusing. It's a small world. I just hope that we do not cross paths again. that would get awkward.
Janet: "anyways, do you guys wanna come over to my pla-"
No way in hell am I ever seeing him again.
Charli: "no thanks."
Janet: "Jaxson is not gonna be there. He is out of town"
Charli: "I'm okay"
Chase: "yeah we will be there"
Janet: "great. See you tonight, I guess we will be all alone"
She smirked
Charli: "actually. Il come"
Janet: "oh... okay..."
Il come... you know... for chases sake obviously.
She turned around and left.
