Chapter 27

Eyeless Jack POV
Hoodie soon returns after moving the girl somewhere in the forest. Giving me a nod to say we're ready.

"EJ, what was the flesh you cut for? You haven't eaten it?"
Masky asks tilting his head. I couldn't help but sigh. If I had eyes, I'd be rolling them right now.

"You ask too many questions Masky. The flesh wasn't for me, it was from him."
I say gesturing down towards LJ.
"Do you have the last liquid jar?"
I ask, holding out my hand to which Masky nods and places it in my palm. Opening it up I place the girls skin into it, putting the lid back on and giving it a shake before opening it again and turning to LJ. Grabbing his hair, I yank his head back opening his mouth, pouring the liquid and chunk of flesh down his throat.

His body starts to twitch as he begins to wake up and be controlled by the murdering agent. Stumbling to his feet hunching over, his body does one final twitch before his back snaps into an upright position, his eyes beaming red as he roars with rage before storming into the forest.

"Perfect. We wait here for his return."

Laughing Jack POV
The last thing I remember was protecting [Name] from Jeffs knife. After that it all goes blank. Just a pitch black memory of nothing, pure emptiness. I could feel my body moving but I couldn't see or control anything. Almost like I was trapped inside my own head.
There was a brief moment where I thought I was going to regain consciousness, though it was like I was pulled back into my mind, preventing me from waking up.

As I wait in the darkness, I finally start to see some light, I was finally waking up. But what I saw was awful. I was pinning [Name] to a tree, but she was dying. She had slashes across her chest, a fractured arm and a huge chunk of skin was missing from her throat, instantly tasting blood in my mouth, I spit out whatever was there, only to see it was the missing chunk from her neck. I did this to her.

"Oh no no! [Name]!"
I lower her to the ground, holding her across my lap as she gasps and gargles, her eyes were so full of fear as she stares up at me, tears flowing down her cheek as blood dribbles from her mouth.
"It's okay it's okay! We can fix this! You can't die on me yet."
Ripping some fabric from her shirt, i scrunch it and press it down hard on her neck wound. Though she didn't even flinch, her body was already going into shock.

Standing to my feet, carrying her in my arms, I run to the cabin as fast as I can, nothing was going to stop me, she needs to stay alive.
However once I got back, EJ, Hoodie and Masky all stood in my way.

"LJ? What the fuck are you doing!"
EJ growls as he pulls out his scalpel, holding it towards [Name]. Hoodie and Masky remaining where they were, their masks just staring.

"EJ please! You need to help me save her!"
I beg, but this only causes him to laugh with an evil tone. Of all the people who could fix [Name], why did it have to be him.

"EJ you were in love once!! PLEASE!"
It felt so abnormal for me to beg in such a weak manner like this, usually me and EJ were always so aggressive to each other, I'd never go to him for a favour. But this time was different.
After I spoke, EJ seemed to be taken back by my comment. Almost as if he had forgotten and the sudden reminder was difficult for him to process.

"Fine".
He grunts, turning and heading inside, I instantly follow after him. Masky and Hoodie following in behind me.

We get [Name] to his operating table as quick as we can and EJ immediately gets to work.

"This is quite the chunk you took from her neck LJ... any bigger and she'd have died instantly.."
I couldn't help but sigh, how could I let this happen. I knew that it was all down to EJ and I wanted to kill him for it, but considering he's now helping, I probably shouldn't.

"You should put this in her neck"
Masky speaks up, handing EJ some kind of small chip.
"It's a tracker. If she's going to be around for a while longer, it'll come in handy."

EJ nods, placing the chip into her neck before he starts to stitch up the wound.

"LJ. You know Slender won't let you keep her here.."
Masky speaks once again. As annoying as I found his voice, he did have a very good point. At first I didn't really know what to respond with, until I finally had an idea.

"She'll become one of us."

"PHAHAHA! I doubt that"
EJ laughs hysterically, wiping away a fake tear from his mask.

"She'll have no choice... if you inject her with what you injected me with.."
EJ pauses what he was doing and lifts his head to look at me.

"Wait you're serious?!"

"Yes."

"Well okay then... but that all depends on whether or not she'll survive this."
I couldn't help but sigh once more. I was finally starting to realise that I had fallen in love with [Name]. I don't know how or why, especially so quickly. But I have. And I'll do anything to keep her safe and to not lose her. She will never leave me.
