The 33rd Golden Disk Awards was held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul earlier this evening and fans are left in shock at how things took a turn for the worst in more than one way.
Starting off with a banger with performances from many beloved artists, no one expected the night to end the way it did: in total and utter chaos.
The sudden power-outage occurred left both idols and audience alarmed as they patiently waited in the dark not knowing what coarse of action to take next. However, their worries was quick to fade once the lights turned back on 60 seconds later.
Shortly after, a representative from JTBC reassured them by informing them of the issue through the intercom. He went on to say "There was no [circuit] issue nor was it the wiring. [An employee] mistakenly bumped into the equipments [thus turning off the lights]. We would like to apologize for any delays [and problems] we have caused".
As if the surprising black-out wasn't enough, a fancam that was posted via Twitter revealed that in the midst of all of this chaos, Red Velvet's and NCT's Kim Alice, has collapsed on stage.
The Netizens took to social media by tweeting out the video with a urging memo. "IM FREAKING OUT. ALICE JUST FLAT OUT PASSED OUT WHILE THE LIGHTS WERE OFF. WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO????"
