Macy rolled her out of bed like she did every morning and finished her morning routine by 10:30am.

Another night without Elijah, she drove home after her outburst to Damon and decided to avoid him at all costs.

Not that it was going to be easy because everywhere she seems to turn Damon isn't far behind.

She grabbed her keys and walked to her car getting in and turning on the ignition. She drove to carol Lockwoods house for the party that seemed to be going on there.

Elijah called her up last night asking to be his plus one, since she heard none of the salvatores  rsvp, she took the invite.

Macy dressed in her normal attire but at she walked in she was thankful not everyone looked classy.

She saw Elijah talking to carol and walked over to him.

"Hi mrs Lockwood." She sad as Elijah smiled, wrapping an arm around her

"Macy, what are you doing here." She asked politely

"She's my plus one." Elijah commented as Macy put an arm around him and they stood closely to each other.

"Damon I'm so glad to see you here." Carol said as Macy turned her head to see damon emerge from next to liz

"Have you met Elijah smith?" Carol Lockwood said as Damon held out a hand

"I don't believe I have, Damon Salvatore." He said, as Elijah took it.

"Damon Salvatore is one of mystic falls founding families" Carol Lockwood said

It was very obvious the tension between the 3, but carol seem to brush it off

Damon gave Macy a stare, she thought it was jealousy but it couldn't be, could it?

"Such a pleasure to meet you." Damon said almost sarcastically

"Pleasure is all mine." Elijah said

After carol left the 3, Elijah pulled Macy into another room, Damon following.

"What do you want Damon." Macy said as she learnt up against the wall, Elijah and Damon either side of her, facing eachother

"I was hoping I could have a word with your very good friend Elijah." Damon said sarcastically

"Where's Elena." Elijah asked

"Safe with Stefan, laying low, bit of a werewolf problem." Damon mentioned as he circled the sofa, Elijah standing behind it

"Oh yea I heard about that." Elijah turned to face Macy and gave her a wink in which she giggled slightly

"I'm sure about that cause it was your witch who saved the day." Damon said a little bit too angry for his liking, he was letting the jealously show

"You are welcome." Elijah added

"Which adds to my confusion about why you're here." Damon said sitting on a table while Macy moved herself into the conversation more sitting on the couch in front of Elijah

"Why don't you stay focus on keeping only Elena safe and leave the Blair Hunter, and the rest to me." Elijah said turning to walk away but Damon vamp sped in front of him

"Not good enough." Damon said making Elijah grab him around the neck, pinning him to the wall

Macy jumped up instantly, fire in her eyes

"I'm not going to kill him." Elijah said making Macy breathing better

"How dare you come in here and challenge me." Elijah said as Damon struggled to breath

"Silence."Elijah grabbed a pencil and stabbed it into Damon's neck making Macy gasp and pull Elijah away from Damon and into a wall

"Oh, there she is, the Hunter." Elijah said as Macy almost went to grab the stake in her boot

Almost.

"I'm an original Damon, show some respect." He said bringing a napkin from his pocket wiping his hands and giving it to Damon.

Macy took it upon herself to leave, she couldn't been seen as vulnerable to Elijah, even though he already knew that hurting Damon would make her defensive.

Elijah emerged from the room smiling at Macy.

"What was that." Macy said as Elijah smiled

"A friendly reminder." He said kissing her cheek as she walked off into the crowd

Damon emerged from the room and Macy grabbed his chin, looking at his neck

"I hope you know that if Elijah wasn't saving everyone's life at the moment he would've been dead for touching you." Macy said as Damon huffed

"Yea right, sleeping with the enemy." Damon said as he pulled himself away from Macy and walked out the house. Macy followed

"Keep your friends close and enemy closer." Macy said as Damon smirked

"Meet you at the boarding house?"
