November POV

I was in bed sleeping when my phone started ringing.

"Hey mommy" I heard the boys say. I started smiling.

"Hey babies" I said

"Happy Birthday" they said

"Aw! Thank you" I said

"Dad said that we can stay with you" Kameron said

"Really" I said

"Let me talk to him" I said

"Hello" Ace said

"Did you stay the boys can stay with me" I asked

"Yeah, we at my grandmas house" Ace said

"Ok, I'll be there in a minute" I said. I got up and I put on como shorts, my red shirt and I put on my black sandals and I let my natural red curls hang.

I left my apartment and I headed to Ms.King's house. I knocked on Ms.King door and she opened it.

"I'm here to get the boys and my daughter" I said smiling

"You not going to come in" she asked

"No, I'm going to stay right here" I said

"Hey mom" the boy said coming around Ms.King.

"Hey babies" I said

"How you been November" Ace Great grandma said

"I been doing good" I said

"I miss you around here" she said

"I miss you too and where is Wisdom" I asked

"Ace in there getting her ready" she said rolling her eyes. Ace walked outside with my baby on this heavy coat.

"Why she got on that heavy coat" we asked and Ace kissed his teeth

"My baby ain't going to get sick" Ace said. I grabbed wisdom and she didn't cry when I grabbed her. I grabbed her bag out of Ace's hand. Ace walked us to my car and I got all my babies in the car.

"Drive safe" Ace said

"I know how to drive" I said and Ace laughed

"Happy birthday, you getting old on me" Ace said

"Boy bye" I said. I got in the car and I saw that my phone was ringing.

"Hello" I said

"Hey, Where you at?" D.J asked

"I went to pick up my kids" I said

"You still want to go to Denny's" he asked

"Yeah, meet us there" I said

"Ight" he said. I hung up and I pulled out of Ms.King driveway.

"Who was that" Kameron asked

"That was D.J" I said

"Is he your boyfriend" Kaleb asked

"He's my friend" I said

"Do you love him" Kameron asked

"Why don't y'all get married then" Kaleb said

"We'll because we're friends, second of all no and third of all no" I said

"Oh ok" Kameron said. We pulled up the same time as D.J. I got out the car and I went around the car to go get baby cakes out the car.

We walked into Danny's and we got a table right then and there.
