• Part 16 - Little secrets •

I woke up extra early to get ready for my friends coming back.

The sun started to melt away the snow and I could see the grass once again.

Easter approached and by the feel of the English air on my hand I could tell that blooming season was coming up.

I was way too excited to see my friends but I'd missed them so so much.

I rushed downstairs to the common room when I heard the sound of mourner of voices and there they were.

In the flesh.

Me and Vaicey locked eyes.

"Lyd"

He said breathing intensely Blaise looked between our intense glare at each other.

"Should I be worried right now"

And with that we screamed and ran to each other.

It felt so nice to be in V's comforting embrace, he smelled like sweet strawberries and his hair smelled of vanilla a very very strong vanilla, he brings his shampoo to school so the both of us can use it...it's defo the best smell ever.

"I missed you so much Lyd!"

"Me too!"

"Hey! Where's my hug"

I turned round to see Blaise pouting and holding his hands out.

But before I hugged him V then pulled me back.

"Nobody wants to hug you Blaise"

"Everyone wants to hug me Vaicey your just jealous"

"You wish!"

"Stop arguing! You guys just got back!"

Then I saw Draco, I'd missed his gorgeous face and couldn't wait to thank him for his gift.

"Hey Lyd! How was your Christmas?"

"Lonely, yours?"

"Alright...just a few boring balls filled with self absorbed pricks"

"Thank you for the necklace by the way! It's gorgeous! And the letter was very...kind"

I could feel myself blush.

"You really think? I wasn't sure if you'd like it or not"

"I love it"

"Great!"

V then dragged me away from Draco,

"Okay lovebirds let's go get some breakfast"

"Vaicey!"

I was blushing furiously but so was Draco, V always managed to embarrass me.

As we walked into the great hall I still got the few usual looks, but I didn't care with my friends by my side I didn't care.

Suddenly I was tapped on the shoulder and turned to see a worried Harry.

Shit.

"Hey Lyd can we talk?"

Draco then stepped in front of me and scowled at Harry.

"Talk about what pottah?!"

"Draco it's fine"

"Yeah Malfoy I'm just gonna tell her about something and then you can have her back"

"Are you friends with him Lyd?"
