• Part 42 - Comeback •

Delilah was acting strange.

We hadn't spoken much this summer as she was still annoyed at the fact I left her outside the door all night, She's so sensitive! It's not my fault she didn't contact me or tell me she was going to be late.

I'd been up all morning making breakfast and cleaning the house while she sat on the couch ,like most days, staring into the abyss with a glass of red wine in her hand.

How classy.

I went to my room after finishing the dishes and noticed myself in the mirror, my reflection had changed a lot.

My hair looked more fluffy and voluminous than usual and...over the summer I certainly grew...not just in hight I'd grown in other places too!

For some reason it made me nervous to see V and the others.

And I presume Draco has gotten a lot more...older looking, The thought of him made me get butterflies and all flushed.

"OI BRAT!"

I sighed and made my way into the living room,

"Go and get the groceries"

"Yeah"

I grabbed the money she'd left on the counter and hurried out of the house.

The air was stuffy, it was warm but looked like it could rain, The summer weather was starting to fade away and turn into autumn.

As I walked down the hill to the local shops I noticed a group of kids my age on the other side of the street.

Oh merlin...Carly.

I could spot those blonde curls from miles away, And just as I was about to turn my head that's when she turned round and locked eyes with me, I wanted to sink into the face of earth so badly.

She given me a sickly smile and began to walk over to me with her friends following behind.

But I'd changed, and I was in Slytherin we are kinda known for winning arguments, and there was no way was I gonna to let this muggle cow get to me.

"Long time no see Carly"

I smiled as she looked to her friends,

"Yeah well I always wondered where you went, I thought maybe you were dead, I thought my prayers had been answered!"

"News flash bitch I don't live to please you"

Her friends giggled a little then stopped immediately when Carly turned round,

"You've always been a weird and crazy bitch so why don't you just back off Rosewood because you don't want me to embarrass you, do you?"

"Calling me a crazy bitch only encourages me to prove you right"

Carly rolled her eyes,

"Keep rolling your eyes maybe you'll find a brain back there"

Her and her friends had their jaws dropped in shock, damn I was good at this, I guess I picked a lot up from V insulting Griffindors over the years.

She laughed nervously,

"I do have a brain and it's much bigger than yours you fat ugly cow!"
