I went back to the common rooms late into the night so nobody would see me.
I was honestly considering just staying in the bathrooms for the remainder of the year...
My eyes were puffy from all the crying.
I opened my dorm to see Vaicey sitting at the bottom of his bed.
I would be angry...but I was too upset.
Vaicey looked up.
His eyes were puffy too.
"I'm so sorry Lyd"
He was breaking my heart.
"I'm serious Lyd! Please forgive me! I-I-I"
He burst into tears.
I wanted to cry again but at this point I wasn't sure I had any tears left.
"V-Vaicey-"
I sounded terrible.
"No Lydia, I need you to listen...Pansy said that you helped Harry and you...kissed him, she said she saw you guys!"
What.
"W-what...you believed her?!"
"OF COURSE I DIDNT!"
"I'M ELEVEN I HAVE NO INTEREST IN KISSING BOYS!"
"I KNOW!"
"Then what about the rest?!"
"T-they knew she was lying too! Well...except Draco..."
"Wha-what! But...I'd never do that to him...I don't even like Harry!"
"I know Lyd-"
"And why didn't you help me...stick up for me?!"
"We were scared Lyd! Terrified! They were threatening us! Telling us that they'd hurt us if we continued to be friends with you!"
"I'm so sorry...But...it's for the best if we aren't friends...I don't want you guys getting hurt"
"NO! THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN! WE LOVE YOU LYDIA!"
"R-really?"
"Yes idiot! Now come here I need a hug!"
I ran up to Vaicey...his warmth was the best feeling ever...
"But what about Draco..."
"I'm sure he knew it was a lie too...he's just being dramatic"
"I hope so"
"You really like him don't you"
"Mhm"
I felt my eyes get heavy.
And I fell into a deep sleep on Vaicey's lap.

It was the morning I'd be returning to Delilah...I wasn't sure if I was ready.
I couldn't use magic.
But I could definitely defend myself...after the situation.
But just facing her hurt me.
My chest felt heavy.
I wish I could just stay at Hogwarts forever and never see her ever again...but that's impossible.
"Hey Lyd! We're going homeeee! ...W-what's wrong?
"Nothing"
"Ohhhhhh I'm so sorry! I kinda forgot about that...c'mon Lyd...you're so strong...you'll get through this and it will all go so fast and before you know it you'll be back!"
