Chapter 8: Dualist

Sora's POV

Nasa Training Ground kami ng mga kaklase ko at nakikinig sa professor namin.

"To know what your strength is, let's have one-on-one match!"

"Since you are 20, today... We will have the traditional palabunutan! If the number you've pick is the same with one of your classmate, then you, two, will be on the battlefield!"

"Yes!" sigaw nila.

Halos lahat excited... Ako lang ang hindi, because this will became trouble!

Pumila na kami sa unahan ng fishbowl at nasa harap ko si Frost.

"Hey, Frost." Napalingon naman sa akin si Frost.

"A-Uh... Nothing," sabi ko na lang.

"Hey, if you're that anxious, recall everything I taught."

Yes, siya ang nagturo sa akin ng self-defense but...

"Nga pala, you can do whatever you want to do, especially, magic."

'Yun na nga. As I said before, hindi ako MAAAAAAAGGGEEEEEE!!!

*sigh*

I have no choice.

Nang matapos ang palabunutan,...

"Sinong nakabunot ng number 1?" tanong ng professor kaya tumaas ako ng kamay.

Tiningnan ko kung sino pa ang tumaas ng kamay at si Frost ang nakita ko.

Napalunok ako.

"Excuse me, Sir," Napatingin kami sa dalawang lalaking dumating at namumukhaan ko ang isa sa kanila.

Loki's POV

Naglilibot-libot kami ni Hell nang makita namin ang class M-101.

It's one-on-one match. Tumingin ako kay Sora.

And kinakabahan siya so pumunta ako sa pwesto ng klase nila at...

"Excuse me, Sir!" tawag-pansin ko sa professor.

Pumunta naman sa harap ko ang professor kaya nagsalita ako.

"Sir, can I have a battle with Mr. Sanchez?"

Agad tumanggi ang professor.

"That will be unfair," sabi pa ng professor.

"I have something I want to clear about him."

He sighed but then agreed.

"Then you will fight with Frost," sabi ng professor kay Hell.

Nag-thumbs up naman siya pero ako ay umalis na at pumunta sa harap ng klase nila.

Sora's POV

Pumunta sa harap namin ang lalaki.

"Siya si Loki, 'di ba?" tanong ng kaklase kong babae sa kaibigan niyang babae.

Kinulbit ko naman sila at nagtanong.

"Sino siya?"

Lumingon naman sa akin ang mga babae at sinagot ang tanong ko.

"Siya si Loki, a dualist. He can manipulate light and create shadows."

Dualist, a mage that can manipulate and create two forms of an element.

Iba ito sa dual mage, kasi ang dual mage ay mage that uses two elements.

For example, si Hell. He is an earth and fire mage kaya dual mage siya.

But Loki, ayon sa pagkakasabi ng babae, is a light and shadow mage which is a form of void element kaya siya tinawag na dualist.

"And also, he is the Chief of Light Form tapos he is also a member of Student Parliament," dagdag ng kaklase kong babae.

Chief ang tawag sa mga leaders of different forms.

"Eeeehhh..." Napasabi ko na lang.

"Announcement." Napatingin kami sa professor namin nang magsalita siya.

"We will have a change of partners on this activity, but the arrangement will be the usual.

"Mr. Sanchez, you will fight against Loki. And Frost, you're against Hell."
