The Seren Number System

Seren numbers are based on a duodecimal or dozenal system. In other words, they use the number that we call twelve, and Seren-ilians call twil, as the base on which they count, rather than the number ten. Our system, based on the number ten,  is called a decimal system.

Equivalent numbers are below. From these, you should be able to work out the Seren equivalent to decimal numbers up to many millions, and perhaps you will be able to do Seren sums. Will it be easier than doing sums to base ten?

Why twelve, rather than ten? See if you can think of some reasons.
