Tanjiro Kamado:
• He was an idiot
• He ruined one of the few things that made him truly happy
• And all for what? One night of pleasure?
• Tanjiro wanted to desperately go back in time to stop himself from making such a stupid decision
• It'd been approximately 1 year since then
• Tanjiro hadn't heard from you
• Not like he could blame you either
• He'd spent some time going to the park and clearing his mind, it helped a lot
• But the endless nights of not having you next to him were painful
• He'd at times slept with different people in hopes of filling that emptiness but it never worked
• It only made Tanjiro more broken
• If only things had been different, he wouldn't have had to witness as you entered a small cafe with a baby stroller
• Curious as ever, Tanjiro followed you into the cafe
• He slowly walked up to you, a nervous smile on his face as he got closer
• "Y/n." It felt like so long ago since he'd last said your name
• You turned around to be met with the face of your former lover
• "Tanjiro....hey." You greeted stiffly
• Tanjiro sighed
• "How have you been?" He asked
• "Okay, what about you?" You asked
• "Pretty good," He said, suddenly noticing a ring on your finger
• "You got married?" He asked
• "Engaged, I got engaged last month." You smiled
• "Oh, good for you." Tanjiro forced a smile
• It pained him so much, not only the fact that you had someone else now but the fact that you also now had a family
• A family that wasn't with him
• "I-Is that your child?" He asked
• You nodded, moving to pull your baby out of their stroller
• "Their name is C/n." You said, holding the small baby in your arms
• They were so small and so adorable, such a shame Tanjiro couldn't call them his child, too
• It got to be too much at some point so he bid Y/n farewell and left
• It would forever pain him what could've been and all the possibilities

Zenitsu Agatsuma:
• He felt like pure garbage
• It'd been 11 months since his mistake and since you stopped talking to him
• Of course, it was understandable
• He messed up in the worst way possible, after all
• He'd tried to desperately get a hold of you but it of course didn't work
• So here he was now, trying to take away the painful ache he felt in his heart by drinking alcohol
• It was getting late so he decided it was best he left and went home
• So that's what he did
• He stumbled outside and began walking back home
• His thoughts were plagued by you
• He couldn't stop thinking about you
• Nor could he stop scolding himself for being such an idiot
• His thoughts soon only revolved around you and everything about you which he missed
• He blamed it on the alcohol when it looked like you were the one leaving a grocery store nearby while also driving a baby stroller
• Zenitsu rubbed his eyes, thinking he was hallucinating
• Sure enough, it really was you in all your glory
• Zenitsu felt the urge to run up to you and embrace you but he held back
• He didn't want to interfere with anything, after all, you looked relatively happy, like you'd moved on
• And he was happy for you, he didn't want you to miss him even if he still missed you himself
• You had your own family now, who was he to interfere with that?
