Realizing Their Feelings: • He realized you were actually kind of fun to be around • Warmed up to you eventually • Denied having feelings, didn't want to have them in the first place • "Love? HAH! Yeah, okay." • He'd probably try to push you away so that his feelings for you go away • Spoiler: that didn't work • He ended up missing you • Still not going to tell anyone, especially you, about his feelings tho
Confessing: • You most likely confessed • Sanemi was a blushy mess • He hesitated at giving you an answer as to whether he reciprocated your feelings or not • Cuz on one hand, he loved you, he really did but on another hand, he didn't want to get attached just so you would die and leave him alone • With a sigh, he gave up • "I....love you, too and....I promise I'll protect you."
