I woke up so happy the next morning. I was doing shit I never do. Skipping and all that other stuff. I went downstairs.

I couldn't stop smiling and I'm pretty sure Jazmine noticed something was up.

"Morning star. You're all happy today. You're glowing too. What happened?"

I sighed happily.

"Huey kissed me last night"

Her jaw dropped.

"Get the fuck outta here. For real?"

"Mm-hmm"

She started doing her Lil dancey dance.

"Yes! Thank you God! It's about fucking time!"

"What you mean it's about time?"

"Come on Star! Dont play dumb! I've seen the interaction between you and Huey!"

"You got me there"

"Watchu making for breakfast?"

"I don't know actually. Got any suggestions?"

"Hmm.... How about pancakes topped with strawberry and whipped cream, with cheese eggs, and a side of toast and O.J?"

"You had this all planned out didn't you?"

I laughed.

"Every part of it"

She laughed and smiled.

"Wait but what about Huey?"

I got up and went to the blender.

"I got his. Don't worry about it"

"Okay"

I sat back down and watched as she prepared all the food.

It's quiet. A little too quiet.

"Hey Jaz, where is everyone? I'm surprised I don't hear their noisy asses"

"Out. They left like just before you got up"

"To do what?"

"That I have no clue"

"I bet you it was Riley's idea"

"It was Huey's actually"

"Whattt?"

"I know girl, it was shocking to me too. But he said, he had something to do, and they would be back in a while"

"Hmm"

She went back to cooking breakfast.

After she finishes cooking

She sat our plates down on the table in front of us, with our glass of O.J on the side.

"Oh my god Jaz this smells so good! It looks good too!"

"Why thank you. I actually kinda taught myself how to cook certain things"

"Well teach me because this shit is fucking delicious"

"Maybe I will one day. Anyways enough about me! Tell me about the kiss! How did it feel?"

I got butterflies again. I felt my face heat up.

"Awww look at you! You're red all over again!"

"It felt magical. Like I felt that connection.. that spark... that fire... but most of all I felt love and passion. It was like we were the only 2 people on the planet. Nothing else mattered in that instant, but me and him. It just felt so... right you know?"

I looked over at Jazmine and she had tears in her eyes.

"Now that is what I call love. You found it Star"

"I did?"

"Yes of course you did. Well it found you, but yeah I guess it did"

"Do you think you're ready to take the next step into you and Huey's relationship?"

"I think I am"

"You think?"

"Yeah"

"Does he make you happy?"

"Of course"

"Does he make you smile?"

"All the time"

"Do you get butterflies when you're around him?"

"Yes. Severely"

"Most importantly... Do you love him?"

"Yes I do"

"Then you're ready. You don't even need to think about it"

"I guess your right huh?"

"I am"

I smiled and continued eating my food while we gossiped.

I am ready to take things to the next level with Huey.
