My phone beeped.

It was a message.... from Huey!

I opened it up.

Hey babydoll. I miss you. I wanted to see how you were holding up. I'm sorry I couldn't text you earlier, I've been kinda busy. I'll be home Monday morning bright and early. Then I can give you all the kisses and cuddles you deserve okay? I love you. See you soon.

That made my heart so happy. I couldn't stop smiling.

"It's Huey, isn't it?"

I didn't notice Jaz was watching me the whole entire time smiling like an idiot.

"Yeahhhhhh"

I layed back and sighed a breath of relief knowing he's okay.

"Hey star come on, I got somewhere I wanna show you"

"Where?"

She laughed.

"That's why I said I wanna show you. I can't tell you dumbass"

I scoffed at her.

"Is it far?"

"Nah. Only a few minutes away"

"Alright. Let's go"

I got up and walked out my room and downstairs.

"We're gonna need your aunt's car"

"What?"

"The car. We need the car"

"I can't remember? It's after 12:00"

"Yeah. But your aunt's not here"

"I don't know...."

"Come on Star, trust me. We're only gonna be out for a few minutes then we're coming straight back. I promise"

I looked at her and gave her a Stern look before making my final decision.

"Fine. But ONLY a few minutes"

"Yes! You won't be disappointed! But I have to drive"

"Okay. Just DON'T mess up my aunt's car"

"Girl, you talking to a expert driver. I've been driving since I was 13"

"How the hell have you been driving since you were 13-"

"Let's just say, it didn't end well. But eventually I got everything back together okay? Okay"

She laughed and so did I.

"Let's just go for I change my mind"

We left out the door and got in the car.

I didn't know where the hell we were going because I COULDN'T SEE A DAMN THING!

She made me cover eyes. For all I know, she could've been leading me to some fucking death trap or sum shit.

"Jaz, are we almost there yet?"

"Yes..... We..... Are"

I felt the car come to a stop.

"Don't open them yet!"

She came around to my side and helped me out.

"Jaz, I swear to god, if you make me fall-"

"Relax star, I got you"

She sat me against the hood of the car.

"When I say 1, open your eyes. Okay?"

I nodded my head.

"3.....2.....1"

I opened them and a whole bunch of lights flashed before my eyes. It was the city we lived in..... from a distance.

All the shining lights so fucking beautiful. The sunset in the sky. I don't know why I've never came up here before.

"Jaz, when did you find this? It's beautiful"

"A couple years ago. I come here now for when I need to blow off some steam, or if I just feel like it"

"Wow"

That moment right there, felt like I was frozen in time. I couldn't take my eyes off of it.
