Lottie's P.O.V:

Binah. That's the one thought that abruptly struck Lottie's mind one day, on a bright and sunny Saturday morning. She was on her way to the Ivy common room, but she suddenly decided to turn back around to go to the Stratus house instead.

I should ask Binah about the English project. And that was exactly what Lottie set out to do.

It had completely slipped her mind. It was weeks ago now that they had done the English project, the one that she worked on with Jamie. Lottie had constantly wondered why Binah told her to work with Jamie when Ms Kuma never even suggested it. Does Binah know about us?

Lottie made her way down the Stratus corridor, searching for Binah, but no matter where she looked, she didn't seem to be there. Then it hit Lottie.

The library.

Of course Binah would be in the library; she was there practically all day, reading books and studying work, just for fun.

As Lottie raced through the library, searching for Binah, she ran straight into Binah herself, the two of them colliding in a puff of purple and yellow, and Binah's stack of books flying everywhere.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry, Binah! I didn't see you there!

"Lottie! It's okay. What are you doing here?!" Binah exclaimed, fixing her glasses which were askew from their collision, and collecting her books. Lottie bent down to help her pick them up.

"I actually came to talk with you, if that's okay."

"Of course! But about what?" Binah asked, cocking her head slightly.

"Well...I need to know if...Look, why did you tell me that Ms Kuma wanted me to work with Jamie on that English project? Because I know that she never asked for us too." Lottie stood up, curious of the answer.

"Well," Binah began, also standing up, "I could tell that there was something going on between you too." She paused. "And it seems I was right," she continued, looking over Lottie's shoulder. Lottie turned around to see Jamie at a table, sat with Ellie.

Lottie admired Jamie's dark and messy hair from afar, which flopped in front of his intense hazel eyes as he looked up, his eyes instantly snapping on Lottie. She felt herself blushing, and willed herself to finally look away.

Lottie turned back around to Binah, and she saw that the Stratus girl had an almost playful glint in her eyes, still observing both Jamie and Lottie with a pensive look on her face. Lottie knew without having to look that Jamie was discreetly watching and listening in to their conversation, all the while talking to Ellie too. It's that Partizan training again, Lottie thought to herself, smiling slightly.

"So...you know about Jamie and I?" Lottie asked shyly, her hands fidgeting.

"Of course I do; I knew before you both even started to date." Binah replied frankly. Lottie's eyes widened in shock.

"Oh...Is it too obvious?" Lottie asked, panicking slightly.

"No, of course not! But...I notice the little details." Binah said, giving Lottie a little knowing wink.

Binah knows everything, Lottie thought to herself.

"I'll see you later, Lottie." Binah said, waving to her.

"Okay, bye, Binah." Lottie replied, before walking over to Ellie and Jamie.

Here goes nothing.
