Chapter 11: 7 Deadly sins

"A-Avie? Are you okay?" tanong ni Heiji habang nakatingin sa aking mata.

I blinked a few times before I nodded. "Y-yes. H-how about you?" I asked.

He then nodded.

Ramdam ko naman na namumula ang aking pisngi dahil sa hiya kaya't umiwas na muna ako ng tingin.

"U-uhm.. H-Heiji? T-This position.. its e-embarrassing" nahihiyang sabi ko.

Sino bang hindi mahihiya kung ganito ang posisyon niyo?! Pareho kayong natumba at nakapatong pa siya sa akin?!

Nanlaki naman ang kanyang mga mata at namula rin ang buo niyang mukha.

Mabilis rin naman siyang tumayo at tinulungan niya rin akong makatayo. Pagkatapos ay pareho naming pinagpagan ang aming sarili at tumingin sa sampung lalaking ngayon ay nakahiga na sa lupa.

"Avie? Are you okay?"

"Heiji? You okay bro?"

Nang makalapit sina Chris, Ivan at Neo sa amin, ay agad na tinanong nila kung ayos lang ba kami.

We then both nodded.

Nabigla naman ako nang yakapin ako ni Loise. "I'm glad you're alright. Avie, that was reckless okay? Kahit na marunong kang lumaban, you should've just stayed away from them"

I gave her a reassuring smile. "I'd be fine no matter what. Thank you for worrying" I sincerely said.

Lumapit naman sa akin si Chris at inakabayan ako. He even looked at me straight into my eyes.

Teka.... Why is he looking at me like that? As if I'm hiding something?

I mean, sasabihin ko naman sa kanya about sa pagsali ko Dos Lunas. Hahanap lang ako ng tiyempo. At saka, iba to eh. Parang hindi naman about sa Dos Lunas ang pinaghihinalaan niya.

"Is there a problem Chris?" I asked.

Neo, Xander, Luis, and Ivan took care of those jerks, at ako, si Chris, si Loise, at si Heiji na lang ang nandito.

Chris then squinted his eyes and moved closer. "Tell me, anong meron sa inyo ni Heiji? Why do you keep on blushing whenever you stare at him? And why do you feel awkward when he's around?" he seriously asked.

Eh? Hala! Isabi ko ba?! Isabi ko ba na nagbablush ako at naaawkward dahil naaalala ko iyong embarrassment noong unang pagkita namin?

What am I gonna do?! I can't just tell him that I got kissed by him---

"It's my fault" sabi ni Heiji kaya't napatingin kaming lahat na nandito sa kanya. "I kissed her so its just normal for her to feel troubled and embarrassed" he explained.

What in the world?! Bakit niya sinabi?! Oh dear! I hope Chris won't punch him or what!

"You what?!" may halong inis at gulat na sabi ni Chris. "Did you forced her to kiss?"

Naikuyom niya ang kanyang kamao at lalapit na sana kay Heiji nang pigilan ko siya. "Hey Chris! Stop what you're thinking. He didn't forced me. That kiss was unexpexted and it was just an accident!"

Lie! Sige nga Aviela?! Paano naging accident yung hinila ka at saka hinalikan?!

Chris then sighed and only gave Heiji a death glare. "I'll let this slide. But just this once" banta niya pa.

Tumingin naman siya kay Loise. "And you, better be careful next time. If possible, stay away from me unless you want to put your life at risk" he told her.

Tinarayan lang naman siya ni Loise.

Then he looked at me. "And as for you young lady, didn't I told you not to do reckless things?" taas kilay na tanong niya.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Sorry. I just didn't want to run. And anyway, ano ba yung sinabi nung lalaking yun na yung kaibigan nila ay sinaktan mo? Didn't I told you to stay away from gang fights? and look, nadamay tuloy ako, na girlfriend mo"

He sighed. "I just did that to protect someone they're hurting. And I had no idea that they would look for you to take revenge"

"Fine, let's just go inside"

Its already midnight and I'm here at my dorm, still awake, coz I'm trying to read the email that Erick sent me. 

It's the informations they gathered about the 7 deadly sins.

The 7 deadly sins are our parents. They were the best group of scientists that ever existed.

Their experiments and other formulas or works were excellent yet dangerous.

These group were friends and they were called as the 7 deadly sins for what they're making can even surpass humanity.

'See? Overcoming humanity is really dangerous and at the same time, it can be evil. Like, why would they overcome humanity? Are they planning to destroy humanity? Geez! I wonder, bakit kaya gumagawa ng delikadong bagay sila daddy?'

Pride is Chris' father, Mr. Santiago.

Greed is my mother, Mrs. Fernandez.

Lust is Nathan and Heiji's mother, Mrs. Baesa.

Envy is Erick's father, Mr. Clein

Gluttony is My father, Mr. Fernandez.

Wrath is Loise's father, Mr. Jamaico

Sloth is Jenny and Luis' father, Mr. Lopez

"Avie? Why are you still awake? *yawn*" humihikab na tanong ni Agatha.

I just smiled at her. "I'm just reading some interesting facts"

"Eh? Anong oras na oh. You better sleep already"

I nodded at her. "Okay. Tapusin ko lang ito. Malapit naman na rin akong matapos eh" Sabi ko pa. She just nodded at natulog na lang muli.

While I continued my reading.

Huling binasa ko ang mga formulas and their other projects. And basing from its names, I can say that this is not humanity anymore.

Human strength improvements, erase painful memories, healing, mind controlling, human robotics, life span increase, no more pain, no more injury, Instant heal, and many other more. 

But the information that caught most of my attention are the words written at the bottom part.

The 7 deadly sins must reunite to create some dangerous projects. The person behind is unknown. But there's a one member from the 7 deadly sins who is safe and was not kidnapped nor hurt.
