Avie's Pov

Bumitaw lang sa pagkahawak si Loise nang alisin ni Chris ang kanyang kamay nang makita sila ng pinsan.

Then, lumabas na ako sa garden para lumapit kay Chris.

Napatingin naman ang lahat sa akin and I'm sure that they didn't like my presence.

Only Chris was smiling at me.

I felt pressured so I just faked my smile and walk towards Chris.

He then gave me a kiss on my forehead.

Then he held my hand and looked at his relatives. "Aunties, uncles, and cousins. This is my girlfriend. Aviela. Aviela, meet my relatives" he coldly said.

Hmm.. He and his relatives aren't in good terms huh?

"Amethyst iha, come sit here with us. Kayo rin iho, Chris and, his girlfriend" aya ng isa sa tita niya.

Tch. Halatang ayaw sakin. Buti na lang hindi ganto ang magulang ni Chris.

Naupo na doon si Loise. Then Chris' tita pointed the seat beside Loise. Which means that she wants Chris to sit beside her since that tita was looking at Chris while pointing the seat.

Chris then faced me. "We can sit somewhere els---" I cut him off.

I smiled and slowly shook my head. "Its okay. Lets just sit there" I told him so he sighed.

He really did sat beside Loise and I sat beside his cousins since it was the only seat available.

I stared down on the floor and I quickly glanced at the back when I felt someone staring at us.

What the?!

Are we being watched?! But by who? Di ko kilala ang mga guests dito. Hindi lang family relatives ang nandito eh.

"Hi ate" napalingon ako sa aking kaliwa nang tapikin ako sa balikat ng isa siguro sa pinsan ni Chris.

"Hello" nakangiting sabi ko.

Ang cute niya. Siguro ay 8 years old pa lang siya. Ang bata pa eh.

He tiptoed and motioned me to lean closer so that he could whisper on my ear. "Ang ganda niyo po. Mas maganda pa po kayo kesa kay ate Amethyst. Pero di ko po alam kung bakit ayaw nila sayo"

I chuckled and tapped his nose tip. "Don't be silly. But thank you for the compliment" nakangiting sabi ko pa.

Ibinalik ko naman ang aking tingin sa likod para hanapin ang kung sino man ang nagmamasid sa amin.

Nang di ko na alam kung sino, tumingin na lang ako kina Chris at Loise na kasalukuyang nagtatawanan habang kausap ang ibang pinsan na nandito rin, katable namin.

I love seeing him laughing. But....

Why do I feel like a thorn just struck my heart?

"They look more good together. Rather than my cousin being with you"

"Iha, wag kang ganyan. Fernandez, mas maganda si Amethyst kesa sayo. Why would my niece date you? Malabo na siguro ang kanyang mata"

Di naman halata na ayaw nila sa akin noh? Haha! Bahala sila sa buhay nila! Basta ako ang girlfriend, at ako ang mahal ni Chris.

Anyway, they aren't Chris' parents so I don't need to worry much.

Then the party had begun.

It was fun but I wasn't feeling happy.

Instead, I was being wary the whole program.
