Nate, Haircut and Amaya are looking for George Lucas. I'm limping behind on my crutches. It took me a while to convince Sara to let me go with them. The only reason she said yes is because when I'm going with, we can play the guilt card: 'you got me paralyzed, this is all your fault. But you can go back to filmschool to stop it' and stuff.

We find him in the parkinglot of his filmschool. He's putting his bag in the trunk of his car. "There he is." Haircut announces. "George Lucas, the man who inspires all of our careers, supposedly."

"Well, let's go inspire him." Nate says.

Amaya tries to stop them. "Guys, maybe I should do the-."

They don't even give her the chance to finish her sentence. Instead they run up to him, me limping behind. "Hey, George. Remember us?" Nate asks. "I had a metallic skin."

Georgie gets scared. "No! No!"

"Look, time takes time to harden, and sooner or later, we're gonna lose our superpowers the same way we're losing our memories." Nate says.

I roll my eyes. Even I could've been more inspriring. An assassin. At least they could've started with a friendly introduction.

Haircut continues: "If you don't make the movies that you make, I don't become a brilliant inventor."

"And I don't become an incredibly handsome historian." Nate adds.

I frown a little. "Handsome?"

Georgie is confused, of course. "I haven't made any movies yet, okay? I'm still in filmschool. Or I was."

"That's the point. If you don't go back to school, you screw up both of our lives." Haircut tells him.

"We don't live up to our full potential." Nate clarifies.

"And I don't want to be a heart surgeon." Haircut adds.

"And I don't want to be a yoga instructor." Nate hisses at him.

Amaya finally interrupts. "Okay, guys, like I said, why don't I talk to our time aberration?"

They're hesitant, but they do both leave. Right after Nate tells Georgie to stay in school one last time.

Once they're gone, Amaya turns to the confused guy, while I stay at a distance. "I'm sory about my friends, they're just-"

"Completely insane?" Georgie suggests.

"Yeah. But what they say is true."

Georgie scoffs. "Oh, okay, what that you guys are from the future, that you've somehow seen a bunch if movies that I haven't even made yet."

"Well actually, I'm from the past, but that's beside the point. Look, George, I don't care about movies, but guys like them..." She stops a second and gestures for Nate and Haircut. "They do. So before you get in that car and drive back to Modesto, just think about them, okay? Them and all the millions of other people that your stories will someday inspire."

"I don't know." He says.

I decide to jump in and make myself useful. "You know Georgie, it isn't even about inspiring people. By dropping out of school, you changed time. And because you changed time, I'm paralyzed in my left leg. Countless others could be hurt or maybe even dead because you so cowardly decided to give up on you dreams. And the only way you can fix this is by going back inside. Serioudly, the future of the world is at stake. And even though I hate to admit it, you're our only hope."

My speech seems to have done the trick, because he decides to go back inside.

We walk through the hall for a while, when Nate speaks up. "Glad you changed your mind, George Lucas."
