"Babe, don't forget the box at the entrance as well." Jennie told Lisa, as she carried one of their many boxes inside their newly bought loft. This type of apartment was never in Jennie's plans, but sometimes our plans don't tend to be followed and people slowly make their own path as they go along.

"I can't believe that brat made me give up my own home, may I add, a very, very expensive one, for this apartment. She is lucky I love her!" Lisa kept cursing under her breath, as she was going down the stairs to get the box that Jennie told her to get. As she picked it up, she almost fell backwards, startled by Jennie who was standing on the top of the stairs, watching her with her arms crossed. "How did you get here so fast?"

"Complaining, weren't you?" Jennie questioned Lisa, who was stuttering, not knowing what to say to Jennie that would make up for the fact that she was cursing her just seconds ago. "Wow, it so feels like we are a sitcom couple. Minus the excessive heteronormativity and the laugh tracks." Jennie joked and went back to the loft. Lisa shook her head and walked up the stairs carrying the box.

They knew it was about time they were going to move in together. It has been a year since they have found each other again and Jennie didn't want to waste gas money going over to Lisa's house all the time, although she spent most of her time there anyway. Lisa did suggest to Jennie that maybe she should move in, but Jennie wanted their own place where they could share rent and pay the bills together like other couples do.

Chaeyoung was the one that helped them find the loft. Her cousin used to live in it, but when she was busted by her parents having daily parties and disturbing the neighbors, she had no other choice but to leave and go back to living with her parents. Chaeyoung's uncle asked for her to find a replacement and Lisa and Jennie were the perfect match.

The decision on whether or not they were moving into the loft almost made Lisa sleep on the floor of her own bedroom. But she knew how it was important for Jennie, therefore she agreed to it. Even if she doesn't like the place, she would do anything to make Jennie happy. Because if she was happy, then Lisa would be happy as well.

"Alright, now that we have most of the boxes, we should start unpacking and decorate the place." Jennie said and Lisa dropped the box onto the floor. She loved Jennie with all her heart, but Jennie wasn't the most creative person in the room, and Lisa remembered dropping out of Art class.

"Honey, maybe we should leave this for the professionals?" Lisa suggested, but she didn't want to make it into a statement, therefore she added a questioning tone after she spoke. Jennie looked at her surprised, with a raised eyebrow. She didn't expect Lisa to want someone else to take care of their loft.

"Honey, it's our home. Our first home. Are you sure you really want to have other people to decorate the place where we are going to live in, sleep in and do everything?" Lisa started rubbing her temples softly and she shook her head and sat on the floor. She knew she wouldn't be able to argue her way in this conversation. "What is it now? Are you that disinterested in the loft? Do you hate it that much?"

"Gosh, Jen, always so dramatic! Do I have interest in you and what you want? Yes. Do I have any interest in this loft? No. I as an adult decided to make the right choice, which was the first one. So forgive me if I am not that into being excited for this misery." Lisa said and Jennie sat next to her and she slapped Lisa's shoulder.

"I know you don't like it. Lisa, you have lived in mansions and expensive flats your whole life. You drive a sports car and your garage back in West Woods still has four others. All that luxury in your life, could never be compared to this loft. But wouldn't it be nice to have something not so extravagant with me? I think this loft is a great step for us. I mean, I could have said yes when you asked me to move in with you but you would still be paying the rent and the bills and I would feel like a live-in girlfriend." Jennie explained and Lisa turned her head to Jennie, not expecting for her to reveal her thoughts so clearly. Usually she says things and it gets Lisa confused.

"My love, you are more than just a live-in girlfriend." Lisa whispered to Jennie, giving her a small peck on the lips, making Jennie blush a little.

"I know..." Jennie was saying and Lisa was looking her attentively, because she knew that Jennie wanted to explain her thoughts further and Lisa wanted Jennie to know she had all of her attention. "This loft simply means something that is ours." That made Lisa kiss Jennie again. She was so precious to Lisa and she meant the world to her.

"I get you. I'm sorry for being so cold about it. You want this to be something that we own together because we are a couple and that is what couples do. This step is huge for us and I am so glad that I am finally with you and I wouldn't want to ruin anything." Lisa said to Jennie, who hugged her. "Ours." She said, hugging Jennie tight.

"And maybe we should really hire professionals to do it, because if I do something, it may ruin everything." Jennie joked and Lisa laughed out loud. She had thrown her head back and Jennie grabbed Lisa's face and pulled her towards her. Jennie kissed Lisa, drawing their bodies closer.

Lisa reached for her pocket and took out her phone. She went on her playlist and picked Beyoncé's song '1+1' from her 'Cheesy songs that Jen likes'. Jennie started giggling like crazy.

As their make out session intensified, Jennie laid down on the floor with Lisa looking at her. With Beyoncé's voice in the background, the sun setting and its left over shining through the windows. They were surrounded by the boxes and nothing else.

Lisa's hand traveled through Jennie's body. And before she went back to kissing Jennie's tender lips, Lisa took over her t-shirt. "Make love to me." She whispered singing along to the song. Lisa lowered her body and her lips were finally against Jennie's.

Moving in together had been the best part of their relationship and they weren't aware of that yet.
