hi, I'm adelaide campbell. I'm 16 years old from st louis missouri and I'm auditioning for the role of samantha larusso i say smiling at the camera that one of the producers were pointing at me as i stood in the auditioning room.

great sweetie. okay so we like our first auditions to be on improve. were gonna give you a situation and then you just do what you feel is right the lady says as she writes some things down on my forms.

okay so lets do a break up scene. this is jacob he's playing eli on the show. your gonna lead the conversation and jacobs just gonna throw lines back at you okay? the lady named jess says and i nod

whenever your ready she says and then i begin

i honestly don't even remember what i said but i just spit words out knowing it's better than standing there looking like a fool. they seemed impressed though and jacob was super nice too I'm glad he wasnt one of those stuck up actors who thought they were better than everyone.

alright that's was good. jacob could you step out for a moment jess asks and he nods

nice meeting you ada he says smiling as he heads out the door.

alright. you are a really talented actor ada. you have a lot of emotion when you talk but you also have this mysterious side of you which could really draw viewers in jess says but I've heard this all before and i know what comes next

but we don't think this roll is for you. we see sam as this more perfect princess and goodie too shoes and we don't see that when your acting. jess says and i nod sadly. i really wanted this part i loved the movies and i really was looking forward to working with all these people

okay, thank you for your time i say smiling

BUT we do have another role we think you would do really well with and we'd like you to come back tomorrow and read for her. would you be up for that? another writer named john asks and my eyes go wide with shock

oh my gosh o-of course i can i say smiling while taking the script from his hands

alright so be back here at three tomorrow and well run through that script okay? jess says

okay sounds good, thank you guys again i say shaking all their hands and walking out of the room and seeing a bunch of other girls waiting around to audition for sam.

i walk to the front door looking around at all the girls when i see a familiar face.

mary? i say and she turns around a big smile growing on her face

ada?! oh my gosh how are you she says pulling me in for a hug

I'm good! how are you i ask

I'm good! are you auditioning for the show? she asks

yeah i auditioned for sam larusso i say and her face falls a little

oh no I'm auditioning for her too she says laughing. mary was such a sweet soul she always has been. we met a couple years go when we were both in a movie together. she's four years older than me but she never acts like a superior she always reminds me were allies which i love.

don't worry i didn't get it i say laughing but she didn't laugh this time

awe I'm sorry she says

no don't be, i think you fit the roll a lot better. they gave me another roll to read for. they think I'll be good at it so well see i say smiling

mary mouser a voice yells

alright wish me luck she says

goodluck i say laughing as we hug and go our separate ways

i hop in my car and head back to the hotel that i was staying at with my mom.

how'd it go honey my mom says as she puts her book down

it was really good, i didn't get the part i auditioned for but they gave me lines of another character cause they think i fit her better i say holding up the script

oh my god so they like recommended the roll for you? my mom asks

i mean i guess i say shrugging as i took a seat down next to her

okay well let me call kelli really quick and let her know. read through that while I'm gone she says and i nod

i open the script and in big black bold letters on the first page is the name of the character

after reading the small script and reading the vision they had for her i fell in love with this role. she's this stubborn, hard headed, a little bit broken girl and i think i could really do this character justice. i read over the small scene that they gave me which was between her and her brother robby. they didn't explain much about the back story because they have to keep a lot classified until someone is for sure part of the cast which made sense. this whole thing was huge. a karate kid come back show?! that's insane and it's definitely going to grasp the older generation but they need to keep it on the down low for now.

i stayed up for a while reading these lines and really going over the personality that quinn had and making sure i delivered these lines the best way i could.

i don't want to get my hopes up but i think this part is fit to me very well and i really want to show the world quinn easton cause i think they'll love her.
