todays the day my music video comes out. i got sent the finished product and I'm actually pretty excited about it.

jeff: omw
ada: what?
jeff: our hike?
jeff: don't tell me you forgot adelaide
ada: oh so now I'm adelaide?
jeff: maybe if i ever actually like you I'll call u ada
ada: fair, see you soon jeffery

i actually completely forgot about our hike so i jumped out of bed and threw on some red lulu shorts and a white tank top. i grabbed some sunglasses just in time for jeff's text telling me he was here

"hey" i say as i slide into the front seat of his car

"this is nerf" he says pointing to the back seat

"oh my god he's so cute" i say petting the cute frenchie that sat in the back seat

"so I'm gonna wear a weighted vest and you're gonna wear nerf" he says smiling slyly

"wear your dog?" i ask confused

"yeah i have like one of those baby holders but for dogs. nerfs about 30 lbs. think you can handle it?" he asks

"30 effing lbs? while we walk up a giant hill?" i say

"i usually run it" jeff says and i could tell he didn't realize i did training like this all the time for cobra kai and supergirl so i decided to keep that from him

alright so this usually takes me an hour, you ready?" jeff asks

"ready" i say as we stand at the bottom of the california hills

"winner buys lunch" i say

"okay I'm down for a free meal" he says

"go" he says and we both take off

"okay so are you just unusually good at this? or did you play me" he says as he finishes the run meeting me down at the other side of the hill

"I've never ran this hike but i do think you forgot i train like a professional athlete for cobra kai and super girl" i say as i pet nerf

"forgot? no no no, you never TOLD me" he says making me laugh

"your fault for thinking all those stunts don't take training" i say shrugging

"i didn't know you did your own stunts either" he says as we walk back to his car

"so where should we go for lunch" i say

"your choice" he says

"I'm on a diet so no fastfood" he says

"wanna just get proteins shakes and heath shots?" i ask

"wow, do you wanna get married?" he says making us both laugh

we head into the protien shake store and see the last person i wanted to see, well last two people

"ethan grayson! nice to see you guys again" jeff says as he bro hugs them both

"hey how are you both" i ask

"good how bout you?" ethan says

"could be better" grayson says

"so what're you two doing here" ethan says trying to ease the awkwardness

"well i took her on that hike i told you guys about and she absolutely crushed me so now i owe her lunch" he says

"oh nice, yeah she's a beast in the gym i could've told you she would win" ethan says

"alright we should head out but it was nice seeing you both" ethan says smiling at us both and grayson does the same but it was clearly fake

"wow so are we just gonna continue to run into all my ex's" i say laughing

"it's a really fun experience to have them both glare at me for being with you" jeff says laughing

we order our shakes and health shots and sit outside for about a half hour before i had to get home

"alright this was fun jeffery" i say unbuckling my seat belt

"it was, next time I'll beat you" he says

"music video drops at 2, watch it" i say before getting out

"still no hugs?" he yells as i walk away from the car

"nah, that one awkward hug from yesterday was enough for me" i yell back and i could hear him chuckle before rolling the window back up and driving off
