Chapter 1: To California We Go!

Chapter 1:

Week 1:

The family pulled up in their new California home, and the girls were excited to see their new home.

Nick: girls welcome to your new home, for the next few years!
Girls: woah!!!!
Riley: we get to live here
Joe: yup
Mads: I'm already starting to love LA. Did I say how much I love the sun?
Riley/Kristy/Clauds: yesssss
Mads: okay
Joe: alright girls go explore the house
Mads: I call the bigger room! *runs into the house*
Kristy: I think the oldest should get the room *runs after them with Clauds*
Joe: uh... girls! There's something you should know about the rooms!
Nick: too late
Joe: rats, hey what time your sister getting here to help out with the move
Nick: uh... she should be on her way now she probably will get here by this afternoon
Joe: great...

With the girls:

Kristy: woah! We got a game room!
Clauds: wow your brother is really, really rich
Kristy: well he's been saving his money
Riley: guys check out the music room!
Kristy: *comes in* I think this is the forbidden area for us
Mads: but it's pretty cool
Kristy: guys we need to get out, we are not supposed to be in this room, Riley don't touch that!
Riley: relax, I just want to play the drumset
Joe: What are you girls doing?
Kristy: uh... I know we're not supposed to be in here
Joe: relax Kristy, it's the first day, but when Nick and I need the music room. You girls need to not be in here. You understand?
Girls: yes sir
Joe: Did you girls check your rooms yet?
Mads: no not yet
Joe: okay I will show you guys where you will be. Your bed and furnitures already came so your rooms has been picked by me already

After Joe shows the girls their rooms, they went outside to their big backyard and pool.

Mads: we have our own pool!!!
Joe: yup
Riley: can we swim in it
Joe: if you have your bathing suits with you. The movers hasn't come yet with our stuff yet
Mads: cool let's go now!

The girls were in the pool and Kristy said to Clauds.

Kristy: this is the life
Claudia: LA Baby!
Riley: can we go on the floaties now
Kristy: not now twerps

The twins look at each other and nod at each other, and each twin tips both Kristy and Claudia into the pool and the girls swim back up as the twins high five each other and Kristy glares at them.

Kristy: I'm going to kill you guys!!!!
Twins: *squeals* Joe!!!! *runs out of the pool*
Kristy: you better run! *runs after them*

Joe and Nick were talking in the kitchen when the twins ran in soaking wet with Kristy on their tail.

Joe: woah, woah, what happened! What did I tell you girls about running in the house! Nick a little help here

Nick grabbed Kristy while Joe had the twins.

Kristy: the girls got me soaked!
Nick: Kristy... that's what happens when you get in the pool.
Kristy: don't you think I know that!!!
Joe: cool it Kristy. What happened?
Riley: Kristy was hogging the floaty
Kristy: I was not hogging, you two were just impatient. The twins flipped me and Clauds underwater!
Joe: girls, That's not nice
Twins: but Joe-
Joe: apologize to Kristy
Twins: *mumbles* sorry Kristy
Joe: no pool privileges if you three are going to keep fighting
Riley: we promise. No more fighting
Joe: good
Mads: Nick, I'm hungry, make me a sandwich
Nick: you have two hands, go make yourself one
Mads: fine... *heads to the fridge* uh... there's no food
Nick: *says sarcastically* I knew there was something I forgot to do. Mads we just moved in so of course we don't have any food yet
Joe: and food doesn't appear in fridge you know that
Mads: I knowwwwww, I was hoping the other neighbors that lived here before left us food
Joe: That's not how moving works, kid. You have to earn your own food, everyone does
Mads: come on Nick, let's go grocery shopping
Joe: relax Mads, we are ordering take out. Nick does not have time today to cook you girls food
Nick: beside I'm hiring a chief to cook our foods for now on
Riley: is the chief going to cook whatever we want
Nick: yes exactly how you want it
Riley: awesome, I love being rich
Joe: just don't let it get to your head kid. I'm the one that's rich
Kristy: *puts arm around Joe while being wrapped in a towel* yet we will be the one spending the money, am I right girls
Joe: you touch my credit card without my permission, and will see who will be the one crying

Kristy removed herself off Joe.

Kristy: I'm going to shower. I'm so glad I have my own bathroom now.
Joe: What do you girls want to eat?
Kristy: Chinese
Riley: Pizza
Mads: Taco Bell

All three of them glared at each other from across the room.

Joe: alright, will vote on it. All in favors Chinese raise your hand

Kristy was the only one who raised their hand.

Joe: sorry Kristy
Kristy: so not fair
Joe: Alright Pizza?

Joe and Riley raised their hands.

Joe: and Taco Bell

Nick, Claudia and Mads raised their hands.

Joe: oh I forgot now that we have Claudia with us we don't have to do it Jonas's Style
Claudia: What's Jonas' style?
Kristy: our own way to have family fun. We normally have to break a stick, or licorice candy.
Basically the one that's the biggest wins
Claudia: so basically you have to break it in half and be lucky enough to have the bigger piece
Kristy: yup
Claudia: that's very unique. My sister and I would normally do Rock Paper Scissors
Kristy: we tried that and it always got us into a fight. So... Nick thought of a better solution and we came up with this
Claudia: nice

Later that day the family was eating food that they ordered, when the doorbell rang and Joe said.

Joe: that must be our things

Joe opened the door and a random person that Joe thought would be the delivery guy.

???: Joe, hey, bro. What's up, buddy? Whoo!!!
Joe: hello, person...
Nick: Joe, did you invite anybody over?
Joe: no, I don't even know who this kid is
Mads: stranger danger! *blows whistle*
Nick/Joe: ow! Mads!
Mads: sorry but you two said to blow the whistle if a stranger came in
Nick: yea, we met when we aren't around you
Mads: oh...
???: I'm not a stranger. I live next door. You see, the haters call me Dennis Zimmer, but the players call me DZ.
Riley: he brought muffins *grabs them*
DZ: so... when's the party?
Kristy: What party? Are we having a party?
Nick/Joe: no
Joe: you need to leave before I call security
Dz: let me break it down for you guys okay. In La, if you don't throw a party. You don't get invited to the parities. Ok? Then the paparazzi forget you. Then the media forgets you. Then the fans forget you
Joe: where trying to keep a low profile here not throw parties
Dz: I'm just helping you out here. I know you took a break from music. But you got to let the world know you're back! What's best to do that is by throwing a party
Joe: how do you know so much about this?
DZ: I watch a lot of "so, where are they now" shows
Kristy: a party would be so much! Please Joe, can we have one
Joe: I don't know
Girls: pleaseeeeee
Nick: I actually, think this sneezy guy might have a point
DZ: it's DZ, but gracias.
Nick: look, if that's the way this town works, then I say bring it. We're known for our parties back in Arizona am I right?
Joe: I thought we were known for being the most astounding family
Nick: that too. Hey, thanks for the tip. We're gonna announce ourselves with authority. What do you say Joe?
Joe: fine... will throw the party
Girls: yes!
Nick: great. I'll take care of the guest list
Kristy: I'll take care of the music
Joe: I'll take care of my looks
Nick: Nice, Joe. Way to be a team player.
Joe: dude, I gotta look good for somebody, after all I am the star of the party, everyone gonna know my name. I will be back and bigger than ever.
Nick: that's the spirit buddy
DZ: oh, what can I handle?
Riley: *hands him the empty basket* refill please
Mads: she means the food but yeah bring some muffins please and thank you.
