Chapter 16: 6 hrs in Recording Studio
Joe and Kristy were hurrying up getting ready. Joe made it downstairs and grabbed 3 protein shake and a bar.
Joe: Kristy, Sophie hurry up we are running late
Kristy: I'm not ready yet!
Sophie: calm down Joesph!
Joe: Nick, you have the girls all day while me and Sophie will be going to the studio
Nick: alright
Joe: girls we are already running late!
Sophie: ugh I'll put your hair up in a bun later
Kristy: but my hair is soggy Joe can wait
Sophie: Kristy...
Kristy: fine...
The girls hurried downstairs, Kristy hurried and grabbed what she needed along with Sophie.
Sophie: we are done happy
Joe: not happy, we are late. Bye girls! Be good to Nick
Twins: bye Joe!
Joe, Sophie and Kristy reached the recording studio.
Kristy posted a photo of Joe, Sophie and Kristy as they waited in the waiting room for the others.
Kristy: getting ready to record in the studio for the first time, oh yeah
They finally called Kristy in, Sophie waited while Joe and Kristy headed inside. Kristy was putting her stuff in her bag and Joe said.
Joe: you got everything you need
Kristy: yeah I'm so nervous
Joe: don't worry, you'll do great
Kristy: that makes me even more nervous
Just then Hayden and his dad came in and Kristy said.
Kristy: hi Hayden!
Hayden: hi Kristy! This is my dad Jimmy
Kristy: hi nice to meet you. Oh this is my brother Joe
Jimmy: oh from DNCE
Joe: yeah that's me, but we are here for my little sister not me
Jimmy: of course, of course. Its great what you did tho, to give up your career to look after your family. Take's good character
Joe: thanks sir
Hayden: dad...
Jimmy: right, you two should start recording
First they started with Kristy's part. Kristy was a bit nervous but it was her first time. Joe smiled like a proud big brother and was glad he allowed her to do this because he could tell she really enjoyed it.
They played her vocals back and Kristy was extremely shock to hear her voice on the recording.
Kristy: oh my gosh, is that me!
Engineers: yeah that's you
Hayden: you sound amazing Kristy
Kristy: thanks *blush*
Joe: I'm proud of you baby girl *kiss her cheek*
Kristy: *embarrassed* Joeeeeyy
Joe: what? I am
Kristy: *gives look and points gesture using her head towards Hayden*
Joe: ohhhhh... I see, my baby sister growing up *pinch his cheek*
Kristy: *slaps hand away* I hate you
Hayden: Kristy he's just proud of you like normal brothers are
Joe: I like this kid, he knows
So they spent 6 hrs recording "Little Did You Know" which is the song they will be singing together at the first Rock Your Hair tour.
After the singing lesson and some recording. They went to get something to eat together. The girls were trying something new but the boys already had this before because they lived in California.
They took a break and climb a tree together on the way before taking some photos and meeting new friends of Hayden at the photoshoot for a calendar released by them.
Kristy got in her pretty dress and Sophie showed her how to walk in heels because they were hard to break in. Joe lead her the way to the photoshop, and they saw a couple of the guys of Rock Your Hair including Hayden. Hayden look stunned when he saw her and he said.
Hayden: wow you look beautiful
Kristy: *blush* thanks
A lady told her she wanted to fix her hair and told Kristy she was beautiful and ask if she ever considered wanting to be a model.
