Pairing: Bucky x Reader

Warnings: Toxic relationships, gold digging, fatigue, mental health issues, depression, mentions of abuse and using,

Prompt:½ well, i have this idea where Seb or one his characters and reader was dating but broke up and kinda became strangers(there's not something wrong between them, they just don't talk)and then he gets into a toxic relationship and in a few months it really affects his mental health and he looks ill etc. but he can't get out of it. then he and the reader see each other for the first time in months and she helps him to get out of the relationship and get better. and then it all fluff:) 2/2 i mean like they are shy as if it's the first time they met and they blush when the other compliments and they go on cute dates etc. i mean everything cute you can think of hahaha don't forget that you can change things!

Summary of last part: You told him your plan. "Text Alejandra this [address] and tell her to meet you there in 10 minutes. You stay here, and get the rest you need. Go take a nap." You helped him up off the couch. "You deserve it." You said with a smile.

You had to admit. Your plan was great. Showing up to the shop instead of Bucky was genius! With fake flowers in hand, and a plane ticket to Idaho, you left to go to the small [Enter any coffee shop here] to show Bucky's, now ex, girlfriend who's boss. Of course, this was a childish thing to do and you had nothing wrong with that. Bucky is your friend and your friends get treated with respect no matter what! Having the motivation to protect Bucky, made you wish that people had better hearts. Why would someone only want someone for their money? That is your one question. Why?

You shook away the thoughts as you neared the coffee shop, and smiled once you saw the shiny, red sports car taking up two parking spots. 'Greedy bitch' you thought to yourself. Parking yourself a few stalls away, you calmly got out of your car and began to walk to Alejandras car. A look of disgust formed on her face when she saw you walking towards her. The happiness in your heart grew knowing she wasn't happy to see you.

Walking up to her, you out your hand up before she could say anything. "Alexandra..." she cut you off "It's Alejandra." You rolled your eyes and continued, "Whatever, Alexandra, I need you to leave Bucky Barnes alone. My health is going down seeing you two together, and my heart will literally explode if you aren't away. So I did us both a favor, and I got you a plane ticket! I hope you like Idaho! Your flight leaves in 3 hours, and they don't refund. So, you might want to hurry."

You gave her the fake flowers, and the ticket and began to walk off. "It's your money you're not getting refunded you bitch!" You chuckled and turned back. "Maybe next time, don't leave your credit card out on the counter?" You say as you walk away. The look on her face was priceless! In utter disbelief and disgust all mixed into one! It was amazing!

You drove back to Buckys place, and quietly walked in the door. You smiled gently as you found him asleep on the couch. A soft blanket caught your eye, and you pulled it over his sleeping body. It made you happy to see that he was finally asleep, and getting the rest he definitely deserved. The thought of him giving that monster all the money in the wrold gave you nightmares. How cruel could that blond bimbo be to ask for money? She had about 978k in her checking account alone. Who knows what she has in her savings. The woman could live in a mansion if she wanted to. But lucky for her, she would be forced to live in Idaho. Alone.

You sat in the big, green armchair in the corner and read a few pages of your book. Imagining yourself with Bucky through the pages of your romantic adventure novel. The brief moment in time you sat alone with Bucky, made you think. You haven't had a relationship since the last time. God, it made you sick just thinking about it. He used you, and abused you. You were lucky to be able to get out of that so called relationship. The book you were reading made you think hard about Buckys past. You knew he was a howling commando, and he was from the 40's. Hell, everyone knew he was. And you were lucky enough to not meet the Winters Soldier, but the amazing man named Bucky Barnes. You're oh, so grateful to know him.

You look up from your book to see that Bucky was waking up. The sun was shining on his silky hair, making it look even softer than it looked before. He sat up, making eye contact with you. His smile brought a small blush to your face and you couldn't help but look in your lap. "Aw, little one, you don't need to hide." He said with a small chuckle. Your cheeks became redder by the second, and when you looked up, he stood and began to walk toward you. He crouched down on his knees in front of you, and said quietly, "Can I ask you something?" Smiling as you put your book down, you nodded. "Will you go on a date with me? I need someone to talk to after that mess. Also, what did you do to make her leave?"

Facepalming, you say with a laugh "I sent her to Idaho. And got her fake flowers..." He held your hands and said "That's the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Really. Thank you, little one." You smiled at the nickname. "Do you mind me asking why you call me little one?" You said with a smile. "Well for one, you're definitely shorter than me. Two, you're just so cute! And three, you're the one. Therefore you are my little one." Your mouth dropped open a little bit. It made sense in your brain. You were his little one. That made you feel extra special.

What surprised you the most, was when he gently placed his hand on your cheek. He inched closer and closer by the second. Butterflies in your stomach came to life as his lips touched yours. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you kissed back. Enjoying every second of it. A smile crept onto yours and Buckys faces as you pulled apart, keeping your foreheads together. "So how about that date?" Bucky said.

You fully wrapped your arms around him, and whispered in his ear, "Yes. Let's just make sure to never go to Idaho if we have to."
