While you held your stomach in pain, small whimpers slipped from your lips. Thank god, Lance came in with a heating pad and some pain killers in hopes of soothing the pain. "Here, Sweetheart." He climbed into bed with you again and placed a heating pad on your aching belly. Curling against him, you wrap your arms around his abdomen and gently squeeze. "Sorry if I suffocate you." You say, your voice muffled by the tracksuit. A chuckle escapes his lips as he wraps the blanket around you tightly. "Aw babe, I'm sorry you're feeling so sick. What did you eat last night? Could it have been something from dinner?" You shrugged, letting out a whimper again.

"Lancey? Can I ask you a huge favor?" As he combed through the small tangles in your hair, he answered softly, "What's that baby?" In a timid voice, you said "Do you think you could help me get to the bathroom? I-I'm not feeling the best. And I'm really dizzy at the moment too." He nodded and gave you a quick kiss on the nose. You loved when he kissed you. You never left the house without receiving a kiss on the nose. He made sure of that! It fills your stomach with butterflies every time he kisses you.

Once again kissing your forehead, he helped you out of your blanket bundle, and on your way to the bathroom. It was quite difficult to walk to the bathroom with all the fog in your brain. Having Lance by your side certainly made life easier. However, whilst doing what you needed to do, you stood up too fast. The combination of dizziness and fatigue made matters worse. You had barely enough time to zip your penguin pajamas before you had to grab the counter in order to keep yourself upright. It wasn't long before the room began to become darker every second. Your head became fuzzy, the room became unreadable, and there was a shortness of breath. The pain was almost unbearable in your lower abdomen and you collapsed onto the floor with a thud before you could walk too far.

Upon hearing the loud commotion, Lance raced to the scene. Unmoving, but breathing, he found your body lying on the ground. You were rolled on your back and examined to ensure you were ok. Countless times he tried to wake you up. He shook you slightly, lightly smacked your cheek, and other things in an attempt to wake you up that did not. "Y/n? Baby? Hey, wake up. Baby, please wake up." As swiftly as he grew concerned, he scooped you up, and slowly walked you to the bed. He carefully lowered the covers back over your shivering body, and added to the mountain of blankets. Lance could still see how you were shaking despite the fact that the blankets kept you warm.

An idea popped into his head as he tucked the blankets around you more. "Baby, I'll be right back. I promise." He knew you were sound asleep still, but he was panicking. He didn't know what to do. But the one thing he was able to find may save your stomach from anymore aches. Your hot water bottle. You were so grateful, even though you didn't see him grab it. Even asleep, feeling the heat was heaven. When Lance slid into bed beside you and held you like a boy holds his teddy bear, it made you feel even better.

When your eyes opened, Lances breath was tickling the back of your neck. Your cramps were nearly gone, and you were ready for more snuggling with you Lancey Pants. When his eyes opened, he could already see the color flooding your cheeks once again. "Baby! You're ok!" He planted a kiss to your lips as you smiled at his reaction. You chuckled as you hugged him closer to you. "I actually thought you died on me. You scared me!"

You reluctantly pulled away from Lances warm embrace to go to the restroom once again. Almost making it to the bathroom, you heard a small gasp and turned around. Seeing Lance stare at a small splotch of blood on the white sheets of your bed nearly made you laugh. It would be an easy wash, but Lance was not one for periods. He knew practically nothing about the anatomy of a woman.

"Lance, calm down. Im not dying. It's just shark week. No need to worry your head about an easy clean up." You said rolling your eyes and walking into the bathroom. Lances hurried footsteps made it to the bathroom door, just before closing it. "Do you need me to be in there with you just in case you pass out again?" Pulling him into the bathroom, you sighed as you leaned against the wall. His arms caging you in. "Why don't we just get in the shower, and we can snuggle later? I want you to be ok babygirl." Lance said, adding a kiss to your forehead. You nodded, moving to your tip toes to peck his lips with one last kiss.

"Maybe warn me when aunty Flo comes?" You playfully smacked his chest and said, "I will, no worries." You paused, Ducking under his arm. You began to get the water to a good temperature and as you did so, you continued saying, "Don't just stand there! Hurry up before I take all the hot water!"

The funny part of it all was the fact that you never had to tell Lance when shark week came. You just had to tell him you were dizzy and had a stomach, and he would be right next to you with your hot water bottle, painkillers, blankets. Anything to keep you feeling like the champion you were.
