    WARNING: VULGARITIES

GEORGE POV

A loud bang woke George up, even before his alarm got to ring.

Followed by muffled voices amplifying as George squint his eyes as the sun rays continue to glare at him. He turned away from the window and closed his eyes for a bit before opening them up. He was physically exhausted from work the past few days.

"THUMP THUMP THUMP!"

A series of furious and loud footsteps climb the stairs that cause George to jump up from his lying position. The sound of footsteps begins to fade as it walks past George's room. He decides to change out of his sleeping attire and go down to check what is going on. As he reluctantly walks down the stairs, he saw his mother at the kitchen sink, tears streaming down her face and pelted on the sink.

Upon hearing footsteps, she quickly wiped her tears off and took a deep breath that even George could hear.

"Good morning, sweetie! Did you slept well last night?" She said in a happy tone.

"Morning, mom, I slept well." He replied despite knowing what happened between their parents.

"Money problems." He thought this in his head.

George has been hearing them fought over a few months now and hopes for it to cease. "He can't even do anything right! All I did was asked him to bring me coffee, and he has to spill it on my important documents for work! He is so fucking useless....." Memories start flowing back onto George's mind when his father berated his mom about George's mistake. Even though he closed the door before his father could complete the sentence, he knew exactly what he was about to say. George's dad is also an alcoholic. He would sometimes vent his anger on George physically, leaving bruise marks all over him. His mom knew but couldn't change anything due to fear. A single tear dripped from his face, and he quickly brushed it off.

"I have prepared breakfast for you, quickly eat up, and go to school. Time is running late!" George's mom exclaimed.

"Okay..." He replied softly.

After George finished eating up, he saw his dad coming down the staircase and heading to the bathroom. The two made eye contact, but his dad immediately looks away as if not acknowledging him. George did not miss the chance to take his bag and leaves for school quickly. His heart aches as he makes his way to school, dreading his body.

George in school is not a very sociable person, even at home. He has many friends and a ton of suitors after him, thanks to his mother's genes, but he could care less about it. George knew that the friends he has are not sincere at all. He knew they only stuck to George to gain attention. George in school is lonely despite having so many followers cause no one really understands him and what he needs.

Time in school went past in a flash. Nothing exciting or sad happened, just a regular day in school.

Normally people would be happy to go back home, but George is dragging his body to return home. He already knows that his parents are fighting again. He reaches home and stares at the door. He paused a moment before proceeding to put his hand on the doorknob. As he begins to turn it to open the door.....

"Did you think I wanted him in the first place? He is the spitting image of you, and I am tired of seeing his fucking face!" An infuriated and deep voice growled. George knows it's his father, and he has normalized this.

"Then did you think I ever wanted this child?! It's all because of you that we have a baby in the first place! Don't you dare blame me for this mishap!" A high-pitched sound came right after. However,  George reacted differently as he and his mother have a way closer bond together than his father ever does.

"Why am I ever born?" In his head.

"Do I deserve this?" In his head.

"What did I do?" In his head.

"Why would they say that about me?" In his head.

'Did I do something wrong?" In his head.

"I did...... I was born... It's all because of me that they have to waste more money on me. I am sure they would've been happier without me." George saying it out.

At this point, George could not think straight. His mind is literally everywhere. He can't breathe. He's gasping for air. His legs felt weak as if everything is spiralling into the abyss.

It started to rain heavily. The rain is a perfect disguise to hide his tears from no one.

Suddenly, he is reminded of the calming sounds of waves that he heard when watching YouTube. Without thinking, the word 'Florida' drowns his thoughts. He takes out his phone and immediately goes to book the earliest plane ticket. Without haste, rush into the house, frightening the parents, but it did not stop them from arguing. He begins packing all his stuff frantically, wanting to get out of this hellhole and ignore all the words they speak.

"You were the one who said you wanted the baby, you bitch!"

George packs his clothes.

"You fucking agreed on this as well, you bastard!"

George packs his favourite books and passport.

"We should have just abort this child in the first place!"

George stops whatever he was doing and ran out with his half-packed luggage upon hearing that sentence from his mom.

He runs as if there's no tomorrow while crying. His clothes drop on the ground while he was running. He stops at the bus stop. His mind is empty, but he didn't stop crying.

The bus comes around, The people in the bus are staring him at due to him being drenched and sobbing profusely, but he did not care. He goes up, taps his card, and goes to take a seat. No one is there except the bus driver. He is still crying.

He alights at the airport but still crying. He did not care about people staring at him. His mind is void still. He is waiting for the plane to be able to take off, and it is killing him. He does not want to see the familiar scenery of the airport, anything that reminds him of his parents. He doesn't want anything that does with them. He's desperate to escape somewhere far. He is still crying. He takes out a hoodie from his luggage and tugs his face on it.

People stared, he didn't care, but he detests the stares.

"PLANE TO FLORIDA HAS ARRIVED. PLEASE PROCEED TO....."

George gasps from not breathing. He then gets up and looks outside. Then proceeds to walk to the plane. It's his second time on a plane. The first was with his father when he was 7 years old. He has to be taken along with his father as the mother was hospitalized due to a high fever.

Before he boards the plane, he takes one final breath outside the plane and head in.
