Chapter Forty-One: Snapchat

GEORGE POV

TIME CHECK: 9:15 AM

George walks out of the bathroom after freshening himself up. George feels so much better after teasing Clay as well. The last memory of Clay waking up in a haste and flustered look. George giggles to himself. Clay's messy dirty-blonde locks and puzzled face are so adorable. George walks into where Clay and Nick are, around the island. Clay stuffing his face on the pancakes and Nick on his phone, rambling about a new app. George walks in, and Clay immediately takes notice of George's presence. 

"Hi," Clay said while stuffing his face with the pancake. George giggles at how dumb and cute Clay looks right now. "Don't talk and eat," George replies as he waltzes his to the leftover pancakes. "You want more of the pancake, daddy?" George smirks as he witnesses Clay drop his utensils and stares at George straight in the eyes with his mouth open. Nick gags at the scene he's witnessing first-hand upon hearing from Clay what happened. 

"Don't do this in front of me, please," Nick commented as he stood up and got a glass of water. "So... Do you want some more pancakes?" George asks again. George laughs even more, looking at Clay's reaction still the same as before. After a staring contest of a few seconds, Clay finally responded with a yes. "Do you not want to eat?" Clay asked George. "Don't feel like it," George said. 

"Nope! You're eating at least two pancakes." Clay firmly said. "Okay, since you said so, daddy", George smirks as he plates his pancakes. Nick just fake gags again as Clay continue eating his pancake with his face red. 

"George, have you heard of the new app called Snapchat?" Nick questioned. "No, I don't use my phone. Only to scroll through Twitter and text you guys. That's about it." George replies. "Download it. The app is pretty cool," Nick said. "I guess I will install it now. Do you have it?" George turns to Clay and asks him. "I'll download it right now as well." Clay replies with a smile as Nick furiously said "What the heck, Dream! I asked you to download it just now, and you said it was boring. Georgie worgie asks you, and you're just going to do it?" George starts laughing while Clay scoffs at Nick's remarks and replies with a "Yep." making Nick groan ", You simp!". George laughs even harder at this. 

After downloading the app, the three of them explored the app together. They added each other on the app and began their first streak day. They sent each other silly photos with the filter. They spent an hour exploring the app before they got bored of it. 

"What should we do now?" George asked and added, "I'm bored". George puts his head on the table, earning a playful pat from Clay on his head. George nudges his head towards where the warmth is coming from. "Are you a cat?" George earns a remark from Nick. "Yep," He copied Clay's tone and said it back, making the three laugh. 

"We should hang out with Karl and the rest of them. They'll be leaving next week." Nick said. "Oh yeah, we should. That'll be fun." and George nods as he feels a little awkward hanging out with a bunch of people he recently just met. He was thinking about ways to socialise. He finalises it by planning to stick beside Clay the whole time. He wouldn't mind. Worst case scenario, George doesn't attend. He could say he is not feeling well. 

"I'm going to stream as promised. I'm playing JackBox with Karl and them. Do you guys want to join? " Nick said and left to his room. George shook his head, and Clay followed after looking at George's answer. "Fine, bye, lovebirds." He scoffs and leaves, leaving the two alone. 

"What do you want to do?" Clay asked George as they moved themself to the couch. "Let's just watch movies until something pops up," George said as he and Clay got comfortable on the couch. "Okay. Anything you want, baby."  Clay said, smirking, making George twitch at the sudden pet name. George hides his face with his hands as he knows that his pale face is crimson. "You shy now?"  George don't know what's gotten into Clay. "Y-ye." George choked on his words while trying to find a movie quick as Clay's right hand slowly made their way to George's waist. George quickly plays anything that is literally on Netflix. He played 'Spiderman, Homecoming". George could feel that Clay's hand was moving closer to his chest.
