GEORGE POV

TIME CHECK: 5:24 PM

After watching Caroline, they watched another movie, 'Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom', and they also watched 'Sam and Cat', a few episodes. George notices the time and jumps out off the couch and heads to the kitchen, telling Clay and Nick that he will prepare dinner for them.

"Guys, I'm going to prepare dinner," George said, leaving the other two blank. The sudden confession that George is going to cook left the two confused. Well, before they could even say anything, George already went to the kitchen.

"He's not going to burn the whole house down, right?" Nick chuckles, and Clay giggles along.

"Well, nothing we can do about it." Clay said and turned his head back to the television. NIck follows along.

What should I cook for them? Let's check the fridge first. I am pretty sure we still have a lot of things inside.

George scans through the fridge, noticing the packet of beef, potatoes, and some other items.

Steak it is.

He thought to himself and gently took out all the equipment and items needed to make the steak. He then proceeds to start the making of it.

CLAY POV

TIME CHECK: 6:45 PM

Why is he taking so long? Did he faint or something? He's just making dinner, so why am I so worried. After that stupid delivery man situation, George wouldn't even leave my side for one second. Of course, I didn't mind it at all. His small body curls up on mine makes me comfortable and so cute to hug. Why is he taking so long, though?

Clay keeps fidgeting around the couch, making Nick, who was engrossed on the show, turns to Clay, who gives Clay a brow's up. Clay notices it and stops, and decided to go into the kitchen. He stands up and makes his way to the kitchen. Nick smirks, knowing why Clay is so fidgety just now and decides to follow along to check up on George. They both open up the door, a strong aroma waft through them. The smell of well-cooked steak immediately makes them turn to the table where George is, putting down plates that are filled with steak, fries, and a type of sauce.

"It smells really nice, Georgie," Clay says while continue sniffing it in.

"It sure does." Nick pitches in.

"Thank you two. It has actually been quite long since I made this, so I don't really know whether it will taste nice or not." George quickly confesses it while the two make their way to the chairs and sit.

"I'm sure it will taste fine." Clay quickly said and smiles, and George quickly turns away for some reason which makes Clay ponders. Nick nods along with Clay's statement.

George smiles in return at Clay and Nick, which makes Clay's face blows up red while Nick smirks at how Clay reacts.

I swear I can never get enough of that face of his.

It's taste testing time. George hands them the utensils needed to eat, a knife, and a fork.

They slice into the tender meat, and the juice starts pouring out. The smell of the steak intensifies, making both Clay and Nick quickly poke into the steak and take a bite out of it.

Wow, literally, it's delicious, I can't compare it with a top-tier chef, but wow, this is enough to open a restaurant.

"This is the best, Georgie. Cook, more often you have to. Now I'm just excited about what you still have in your mind." Clay praises and George smiles and turns a little red which Clay actually notices and wants to scream internally how cute this one person can be.

"You will definitely make a good wife, George." Nick chips in, and George turns his head over to Nick, giving him a confused look.

"Thanks?" George chuckles. Clay and Nick laugh at the confused face that George had made.

Clay then realizes that there is only enough food for both himself and Nick only.

"Georgie, where's yours?" Clay questioned worryingly. The nickname flows in itself without even much thought.

George, at first, didn't understand the question until Clay looks down at his own plate and look back up at George. Then quickly takes notice of what Clay was talking about.

"Oh, I'm not hungry. I'm just a little tired now after moving a lot." He shrugs it off.

"Oh, if you're hungry, just tell me, I'll make something for you," Clay says back, and George smiles at how kind Clay is being. Clay immediately turns away after noticing the smile, the pretty smile that George can do to make anybody do anything for him.

God, he's just so beautiful. OH YEAH, THE GIFT. This is definitely a good time to give it.

Clay quickly finished the last bite of the steak and ran to the table to grab the box. George startles at the sudden movement but quickly notices that Clay is holding something in his hands. George is confused when Clay hands the box to him, only saying, "Open it..".

George opens the box gently, the wrapping paper around the box is quickly peeled off.

"Oh my, is this really for me?" George gasps when he notices the brand new phone that is in front of him, the newest iPhone. He's on the verge of tears right now, which makes his eyes even shinier.

"Yes, for you, Georgie," Clay says brightly and notices the tears forming, preparing to hug George but is quickly cut off with George giving it first.

George shoves himself towards Clay's chest and embraces Clay's muscular and big body. He starts pouring onto the male's warm body.

"Thank you, Clay," George says in a soft pitched voice, muffled as he is still in Clay's chest.

"Anything for you, Georgie", Clay replies with a sweet voice that even Nick gags at it at the back silently.

"I'll repay you, I promise," George says.

"You don't have to; as long as you're happy, that's enough for me already," Clay says without hesitant which makes George blush furiously. The words that come out of Clay's mouth make George flutters, something that he really never felt before. It's a new feeling, but it's not uncomfortable. It's even soothing at best, and he felt safe at Clay's embrace. George's heart pacing like mad.

For now, though, he didn't care about the feelings. He's too happy to be bothered about it right now.

He's just thankful that these two people walk into his life.
