Once I heard news of my fathers death I knew I had to return home.
It had been so long I hardly remembered Asgard, walking around this beautiful place it almost feels alien to me. There's a spark of something familiar but it's buried deep down past over a hundred years of memories.
I had been sent away as a child, my father - Odin - wanted to ensure I had the best teacher to help me understand and develop my powers.
Being the Goddess of Power came with a lot, being able to take on any power I come into contact with meant a lot to learn, and I'm still learning to this day.
I try to always remember that this is a blessing, but the burden often finds its way through. While I've been lucky enough to hold all of this power, I've lost my family.
My father was the only person I would get to see and that was rare. My mother died before I had the chance to see her again, and I haven't seen my brothers since I left at only thirteen years old.
That last part is coming to an end though. Now that I finally feel confident in myself, it's time to return home.
