Part Twenty Two

"We really need to get out of bed Buck."

"Five more minutes."

"Bucky it's almost midday. I don't think I've ever stayed in bed this late." He doesn't respond, just wraps his arms around me tighter.

"James Buchanan Barnes we need to get out of bed right now."

"I know you're trying to sound all stern and grumpy but it's actually extremely sexy."

"Oh no no no, you're not seducing me again, get your butt up." It takes all of my strength not to give in to him again and pull myself out of his bed, grabbing one of his jumpers and throwing it on.

I turn around to find him watching me with a smirk on his face. I look into his mind and almost gasp at his thoughts.

"Bucky Barnes!"

"Come on Ally you can't expect me to not think about that when you're standing there, in only my clothes, looking like that."

"Did you not get enough this morning?"

"I'll never get enough of you."

I can't help the smile that spreads across my face, and so I walk back over to the bed to give him a quick kiss. He tries to grab me and pull me close but I make a narrow escape - much to his dismay - and use my abilities to make a pair of my shorts appear, throwing them on underneath his jumper.

I hear him groan a little and can't help but giggle. I use my abilities again to flick some clothes at him from his wardrobe.

"Get dressed." I don't wait for him to reply before walking out of the bedroom and down to the lounge area.

"Hey Ally, where have you been all morning?" I hear Natasha say, but I don't respond, my eyes only focused on what's happened outside overnight.

"Ally are you okay?" She asks again, and I can hear a touch of concern in her voice.

"Is that snow outside?"

"Oh yeah it looks like we got an early downpour, it should be gone by tomorrow."

"It's magical." I don't wait for a reply and I run outside, my feet sinking into the freshly fallen snow. It's absolutely freezing but is one of the best sensations.

"Althea you have to come inside and put something warmer on!"

I ignore Steve and wriggle my toes which are quickly going numb, leaning down and scooping up a chunk of the snow before throwing it in the air and letting it fall to the ground.

I don't know how long I'm out there, but I make snowmen and snow angels, Bucky comes out for a while and we have a snowball fight, but he goes in because it's cold, he tries to make me come inside with him but I refuse, too caught up in the fun of my first snow.

By the time I get inside my clothes are dripping wet and I can't feel most of my body, but I have no regrets, it was so unbelievably fun.

"Holy shit Ally, you're freezing." Bucky takes off his jacket and wraps it around my shoulders pulling me into the warmth of the house.

"Th-that was am-mazing." My teeth are chattering so hard I can't quite get my words out.

"I'm glad you had a good time, now let's get you dried off." He calls out to Steve to grab some towels and wraps them around me, sitting me down in the seat by the fire.

"Buck, I'll be f-fine."

"You need to get dry or you're gonna get sick."

"I'm a goddess, I don't get sick, my body literally heals itself." He doesn't listen to me and keeps wrapping me in towels and blankets to get me warm.

"Buck I'm not going to get sick."
