Weeks went by in a snap of a finger, Christmas was approaching. I still couldn't get over the fact that I was able to have a baby in the future.

I was so scared that my past had scarred my future but I guess Lorena was right, a little bit of hope will get us to the top of a mountain. My hope was Valerius.

Not seeing him for six weeks has been torture. Since I came home, I chose to stay here; I wanted to spend time with my family. There has not been a day where Valerius hasn't called me and whenever I was busy he would call on the landline.

"Chérie, breakfast is ready." Papa calls from downstairs. As I made my way downstairs, I slowly began to feel dizzy. Usually when I am about to start my cycle I begin to feel dizzy, so hopefully I'm finally going to get it.

Walking to the dining room, the table was full of eggs, pancakes, fruits, tea and coffee. I grimaced at the smell of eggs as the pungent smell wafted around. "Chérie, are you ok?" Papa asked, placing his warm hand over mine.

"Papa, I feel a bit unwell. " I said as I covered my nose with my hand but unfortunately, the smell didn't go away. Without further delay, I felt bile run up my throat.

Immediately, I rushed to the bathroom and emptied my contents out into the toilet. Abella stormed through the bathroom, holding my hair as I continued to throw up.

Abella helped bring my food to my room and under strict orders from my dad, I was told not to go outside but just rest.

"Chérie, how do you feel?" Mama asked, walking into my room and sitting on the edge of the bed. "I have a headache and I feel a bit tired."

"Chérie, do you want me to call the doctor? Just in case it is serious or not." Mama asked, I shook my head 'no'. "I'm sure it's just a stomach bug, nothing too serious." I assured

"Keep yourself warm." She said kissing my head before placing a blanket round my shoulders. "Valerius is coming here soon." Mama stated before closing my curtains to allow sleep to embrace me.

"Mama, you didn't have-" Mama shook her head, "Not me but Abella did so you may rant at her when she gets here. " She said, "Now, rest." She whispered before closing the door.

I rolled my eyes at how it was unnecessary for Abella to tell Val. Now he is going to probably worry himself for no reason. Closing my eyes, I slept.

A soft touch had began to rub itself against my cheek. Opening my eyes, I adjusted to the dark surroundings and was met by the Prussian eyes that was never unnoticed.

"Amore, what happened?" He cooed, "I felt a bit sick and dizzy but it's nothing to worry about. I'm sure it's just a stomach bug." I said, smiling.

"You look pale, have you had something to drink? Have you eaten? Do you want me to make you something?-" Before Valerius could list anymore questions, I leaned forward and kissed him. "Val, I'm fine. I just need to rest." I assured, rubbing his cheek.

Sighing, Valerius kissed me again before I shuffled across for him to lay down. "Have you called the doctor?" Valerius asked as I placed my head on his chest whilst he stroked my head.

"No." I mumbled, "Amore, first thing tomorrow we are going to the doctors." Valerius commanded. As I was about to disagree, Valerius interrupted me. "No 'buts'. We are going." I closed my mouth and smiled at his dominance.

"Val?" I asked as I shifted my head to stare into those blue eyes of his. "Amore, if it's about not going to the doctors then I don't want to hear it. " He said, stroking my hair.

"Val, what makes you think I was going to say about not going to the doctors?" I pouted, nuzzling my head in the crook of his neck. "Because you stubborn, amore." He deadpanned.

Opening my mouth in offense, I turned my head to face him. "Me? I am not stubborn!" I argued but Valerius nodded and disagreed. "Yes, you are." He said calmly.

"When have I been stubborn?" I questioned, it was a lie he told. I was not stubborn, he was stubborn. "When I clearly told you not to go to the ball, but what did you do?" He asked as I pouted and bit my lip in defeat.

"You went to the ball." He finished off as he chuckled, proving his point. "In my defence, I wanted to go and it's not like I have been to a ball before." I said, resting my head back on his chest.

"Well, the next time you go to that ball, you are wearing a red dress." Valerius said kissing the top of my head. Blushing, I bit my lip as I imagined how that day would be an unforgettable experience.

"I won't let anyone have you, you're mine." He whispered, I clutched on to his shirt hard as I felt my cheeks redden. "Actually, you are going to have to fight Angelo on that one." I chuckled.

Valerius groaned and began to caress my back. My body began to relax against his touch and I felt like I was going to have the best sleep that I haven't had in weeks."What were you going to ask, amore?" He said, making me snap out of my thoughts.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" I asked, fiddling with his shirt. "Until you fall asleep, of course." He replied, his intoxicating scent added to the relaxing sensation of his hand moving up and down my spine, making my eye lids close.

"No, I mean, stay with me for the night, please." I said, wrapping my arm around his body and snuggling into his chest. "And no 'buts'. " I demanded, smiling.

"Anything for you, amore." Valerius chuckled slightly, before wrapping us both in a blanket like a cocoon. His body radiated with so much heat, I didn't think I even needed a blanket.

"Sleep, amore." Valerius whispered, giving me a soft kiss on the head before I slept peacefully.
