JENNIE POV

"Uh, no my dear mother-in-law. My Mom is a wonderful and supportive which you kind of lack there" I chuckled "Now going back, what's with you and my mother?" I asked, completely curious

I know my Mom and her were colleagues but the way she spoke towards my Mom kinda weird me up.

Mom mentioned that they shared a dormitory, they used to be friends but not that close, so why on earth Mrs. Manoban talked like they were besties in the past

"Shut up! I don't need to say anything! You and your mother is not welcome here anymore and tell you what, your mother was a coward bitch!" she turned her heels leaving me completely dumbfounded

Did she just bad mouthing my Mom!

As she was handling the doorknob,
I blurted the stupid idea my brain was all can cope up "Have you two dated? Or she kind of dumped you?"

And as far as I remember, she was foots away from me but her palm strike my right cheek surprising me from a hard slapped

Fuck

"You're really her daughter. You're both an asshole"

She slammed the door as I remain standing, frozen and trying hard to sink of what just happened still holding the cheek she just slapped.

But wow, Lalisa's mother can swear like a college sweetheart but beast in the party.

Whatever, she slapped me and that was — understandable. I mean I have been so disrespectful to her and my mother would surely scold me if she heard my brat side.

Hissing to myself, I started to pick Lalisa's belongings though I could still feel the stinging "She should've just ignored my question instead of slapping me. She's older I could report her" I said to myself

After I put all the box at the back of my car, I unlocked the door and saw Lalisa curled up. She's hugging her knees with her head resting on it. My baby is so tired

I started the engine, I glanced at her but I think she's not ready to speak so I let her and drove away

"Doll?" I called "Doll, we're here" I shake her softly. I already instructed the maid to put Lalisa's boxes in my room and a soup and all Lalisa's favorite for dinner

"Doll- oh" she's sleeping. I chuckled then kissed her head "Silly, I can't carry you"

Not wanting to roast my doll inside, I bring the car to life and keep the door open. I called the maid to get me a chair

I called the maid to get me a chair

Now this is what we called relaxing.

I wear my shade on as I sat infront of the open shotgun seat and decided to wait patiently for my beloved to wake up while browsing on my phone or maybe update my concerned friends
