"hey, angel eyes. no time, no see." he whispered with a breathtaking smile, his hazel eyes glorifying the girl that stood before him with her own gentle smile. the girl had gasped with parted lips before a massive smile playing on her lips, barreling towards him with unmatched speed. he laughed as soon as she crash landed right back into his arms, her lips blubbering with excitement. the boy had gently knocked his forehead against her own, his breath fanning her plump lips though trying to restrict himself from laying his own against hers. "still wickedly beautiful like always."

his hands subconsciously gripped her hips, gently tucking a stray strand of her dark hair behind her ears. she had gently laid a delicate hand against his cheek, feeling the skin beneath her own warm that sparked a light in her chest. she missed this, she missed him and how perfectly he fit in her arms, how stupid his jokes were and how he loved her, the real her that was imperfect and imbalanced. he had nuzzled into her hand in response to her affectionate touch, his adoring and intimate gaze trained on her as he ducked his head low enough to plant a tender kiss into the flesh.

she couldn't help but melt ever so slightly in his arms, leaning her face to kiss the tip of his nose before letting her own brush against it in an eskimo kiss. he couldn't help but grin before his arms circled her waist, holding her as if she were to disappear before his very eyes all over again.

"i missed you, lukie." her voice was like a symphony of angels, a beautiful song that rewired his brain and reassured his very soul that she was real. she wasn't a dream, she wasn't an illusion played by a crazed magician, she was his and he was hers. her touch was feathery and warm like he remembered them, delicate and careful that trace every landmark of his skin, mapping out every dimple and mole. "i promise i'll never leave you out of my sight, again."

the boy had merely grinned, one that couldn't be wiped off of his face so easily, a dazed look behind his hazel eyes that made his girl fall in love all over again.

"i'll keep you to that." he whispered with a breathless laugh before he gently tugged her forward, two halves of a broken heart and two souls reuniting as soon as their lips had touched the same why as it did before. They kissed as if they were being brought back in time, brought back to their own period to when it was just two ghosts steadily falling in love, a rockstar and a ballerina, or to an alternate universe to where they were simply a boy and a girl. They were two people learning to love all over again.
