Sixteen minutes to go.

He took her to her a Broadway show in New York City when they were 24. He had bought the tickets and arranged for it all to be a surprise. He had one of her sisters pack a suitcase of everything she would like, and got her in the car. He then drove to the airport and parked. Every time she questioned what he was doing, he’d simply shrug. He got their two suitcases out and started walking towards the check-in line. 

“Ben Matthews and Leigh Myster, it’s great to have you flying with us today. So JFK is your final destination today?” 

“Off to see Wicked and Pippin!” He responded with enthusiasm.

Right after he said that, she stared incredulously at him before letting her jaw totally drop. They had been together for two years and never before had she felt like she really belonged until she was with Ben.
