FRIDAY had voiced over Y/N's office whilst she was working, advising her that Tony wished to see her upstairs in his office. She groaned, halfway through a design that's he had been working on for weeks. New technology was always difficult to create, and as much as it was usually created by Tony, Y/N gave it her best. She walked through the office, pretending to shoot herself in the head with her fingers as she smiled to Ned. Tony was leaning against the front of his desk with a glass of champagne, smiling at two men sitting at the table opposite him.

"What are we celebrating?" She asked, entering the office and Tony putting his arm around her.

"Y/N, I'd like you to meet our newest consultants, Norman and Harry Osborn. They have some amazing technology at Oscorp that could deem useful to us here at Stark," Tony explained, Y/N putting her hand out to the two men. The younger one Harry, was quite attractive and about her age. He was dressed well, his hair styled immaculately and had a smile whiter than her sneakers.

"It's a pleasure," she said, shaking both of their hands and Harry lingering into the handshake.

"Trust me, the pleasure is all mine," he grinned, letting go of her hand as she felt a shiver up her spine.

Happy was sitting outside of the office and frowning as he watched the interaction, not trusting the two men who had now signed onto a partnership with Stark Industries. He called Peter on his iPad, who was in the middle of his college library and third wheeling with MJ and Brad.

"Yo Happy, what's up," he said putting his headphones in, relieved he had an excuse to not be hearing the sounds of making out anymore.

"Alright so Y/N and Mr. Stark are meeting with these two rich guys, one of them your age, handsome. So I run his credentials, turns out he graduated MIT two years ago, smart kid, handsome" Happy explains, Peter shrugging into the camera.

"Happy you said that already, we get it he's good looking," Peter rolls his eyes.

"They're drinking champagne now, he's sitting kinda close to her," Happy points out, holding his iPad up for Peter to see.

"What am I looking at here? You watching them? Flip the screen," Peter sighed putting his head in his hand at Happy's lack of technological knowledge.

Peter wasn't the jealous type, but he knew that Y/N was one of the best things to ever happen to him and he didn't want that to disappear. After Y/N had revealed that she too had powers, they had agreed again to not date, at risk of their identities being found out. It killed both of them, but realistically they acted like they were dating, they didn't see other people and their friends knew about them. He tried to shake the thought of her being interested in some new guy out of his head, deciding to message her.

PETER
dinner tonight?

Y/N excused herself from the conversation she was having with Harry and checked her messages, replying with a quick, 'Might be late home but sure' and putting her phone back down next to her. Peter narrowed his eyes at the text he had gotten. Normally she signed things off with an 'x' or added emojis, this time neither.

Y/N came home exhausted, walking into the living room and flopping onto the couch. Peter who was in her room, came out and sat next to her, smiling and looking at the girl who had just melted onto the couch.

"Rough day?" He asked, curious on how he could bring up this Harry guy without sounding like a complete stalker. She nodded, the meeting with Oscorp taking up a solid chunk of her day and having to stay late to finish her work.

"Were you with the Oscorp dude?" Peter pressed, obviously not asking the question casually. She sat up and looked at him.

"What?" she asked, "God, how do you ev- Happy told you didn't he?" she sighed, sitting up properly and putting her hand on Peters knee. "They're business partners, they're not enemies. You don't need to protect me over them," Y/N sighed, trying to reassure Peter. FRIDAY sounded over the living room speakers, locating Y/N in the room.

"Direct message from Harry Osborn: Looking forward to working together, maybe we can catch up over a drink to break the ice" FRIDAY said, Y/N groaning and shouting 'not now' at FRIDAY. Peter stood up, and ran his hands through his hair, obviously worried about this new guy who was now flirting with Y/N.

"Business partners don't ask to go out drinking after they've met them once!" He reasoned, his chest starting to feel heavy and his hands jittery. She furrowed her eyebrows at him.

"Yes they do Peter it's normal business, why are you so upset about this?!" She questioned, watching him get worked up. He excused himself, telling Y/N he had to go home and he'd talk to her later.

She rolled her eyes and groaned, yelling out to FRIDAY. "What did I tell you about reading my text messages when there's other people in the room? God damn it, respond to Harry asking if tonight works, I need a drink," she sighs, getting off the couch and heading to her room. FRIDAY asks as she enters.

"Do you have guests? You have an incoming message," FRIDAY says, Y/N sighing at the location metrics having being broken if FRIDAY can't detect other people.

"Read the message, nobody else is in here," she says, getting undressed. "

Harry Osborn has responded with, sounds great how about nine?"
