"I am not surprised the portal opened to New York City" Alex rubbed his hands and hugged Sandy. The air was cold and no one got the idea of checking the weather updates before landing. The Portal chose to drop us in the most-appreciated tourist attraction - The Time's Square. Of course, the ones who used the portal before the witch landed in New York, witch followed and now we follow. No one changed the location.

"My dear brothers and sisters," Victor said with evident awe, "Does it snow in New York?"

And on queue, the wet snow began descending down from the evening sky. We heard a few people huff and complain about it but what were they expecting at the end of November? This is the Christmas season and well, New York is going to light up. I missed my city and my old life. But it seems so different now - as if I've come back after years.

"Yes, it snows in New York. What does that even mean?" Noah asked impatiently.

None of us was wearing warm clothing.

"I thought it only Snows around the palace and only our lake freezes, our oceans feel like a load of cold bliss!"

"Nature is the same everywhere" Alex patted Victor's back, "We should find our shelter soon"

"I agree" Delan was analyzing him and Alex was very well aware of that, "Victoria, call that guy"

She nodded and fetched the cell phone from her pocket. She dialed the number without even looking at the pamphlet that she was shoving in everyone's face back at the palace. Seems like that man didn't take too much time to respond.

"Hello?" Victoria said, "Umm...this-this..is...Victoria? Ispoke to you about moving in with you? I mean.. the paying guest advertisement" She laughed nervously, "Can you..ahem..guide us to your place?"

My eyes almost popped out, my mouth was already open. Rochelle was kind enough to shut it and rub my back, "Shocker, I know" She said.

"She....does she..."

"Like the guy?" Rochelle giggled, "Yes!"

When the guy started telling her where she stays, she timidly interrupted him and requested that he tell her brother because she is not aware of the place. Noah took the phone and they spoke. Victoria turned deeper shades of pink just after a phone call. Only I and Rochelle really noticed. Delan and Carter were obviously communicating mentally. Alex and Sandy were having their own mini-honeymoon there, kissing, giggling and pointing at the huge display of virtual hoardings. Victor was actually checking out women on street and simply admiring the vibe. No one seemed to notice Victoria's sudden change of demeanor.

"I wanna meet the lucky guy" Rochelle told me, " She has been simping for 4 years!"

"How old is she now?" I asked out of curiosity.

"20" Rochelle shrugged, "We don't have the Major, Minor age rules down at the palace. It's quite hard to follow. No body really cares about age, you see. After a century, you lose track."

"I understand"

Lucifer will be welcoming a new addition to the family, just that it won't be through Victor. Noah ushered us towards a taxi and only Noah, Rochelle, Carter and Victor could take the first. Delan, Alex, Sandy, and I had to wait for the next one. Noah briefed Delan about the address and if someone knew the human world more than Noah, it must be Delan.

"So you blame my mother" Delan asked out of the blue.

Nothing I wasn't expecting.

"Yes" Alex said, still holding on to Sandy lovingly.

But Sandy spoke, "He has been through a lot already, Delan. Can't we have this conversation later?"

"I wish" Delan sounded frustrated, "But I am worried"
