CHAPTER 1

It's already Midnight. I stormed out of my car and walk straight inside the house.

This is me during Midnight. This is what I'm doing.

I summoned my tranquilizer gun and shoot the guard who's trying to stop me.

Tranquilizer may do for him, he's normal after all.

Pumasok ako sa loob ng bahay at pinagbabaril ang mga nakikita kong normal na tao using my tranquilizer gun.

Isa lang ang pakay ko dito. At ito ay ang patayin ang mapanlinlang na nilalang na iyon.

Pumanhik ako patungong second floor. Tumigil ako sa harap ng tatlong kwarto.

I can sense movements inside the second room.

I smirk.

It is going to be your end bastard.

Sinipa ko ang pinto. Nasira ito at tumilapon. Nagulat ang mga nasa loob ng kwartong ito.

Two people are doing some dirty things on the bed.

Kung hindi ko alam ang talagang pakay ng nilalang ito, iisipin kong ito talaga ang pakay niya sa babaeng katalik nito sa kama.

Walang pasabing inasinta ko ang babae.

Tumayo ang lalaki at isinuot nito ang roba niya at humarap saakin.

He smirked. "So, it's true." He said. "You are what they called, Midnight."

"I am."

I summoned another gun and a katana. My left was holding the gun and my right hand was holding the katana.

"I wonder," naglakad ito papalapit saakin. "Why would you kill me? I'm just a mere human."

I stared at him blankly. "I can see what is cannot be seen through naked eye."

Itinapat ko ang baril ko sa ulo nito. "And you are not a human. You're a demon." I shoot his legs making him kneel down and without a second thought, I beheaded him.

After I beheaded him, he turns into ashes.

Tumalikod na ako at lumabas ng bahay.

I can see demons who are disguising as a human.

And this is my job.

To kill all the demons who's lurking around this realm.

And they call me Midnight.

I am their worst nightmare. Demons worst nightmare.

Naiinis na bumangon ako at nakapikit pa na lumabas ng kwarto at pinagbuksan ng pinto ang kung sino man ang walang hiyang kumakatok na ito.

"What the freaking-! Anong itsura yan Ereese?!"

By the voice of it, I already knew who is it.

My friend. Ailee Thompson.

Tinalikuran ko ito at humiga sa sofa.

"Hoy babae! Anong ginawa mo kagabi at ganyan ka kaantok ha?! Alam mo bang alas diyes na ng umaga?!" Patuloy lang ito sa pagsesermon saakin pero hindi ko na pinakinggan pa ang iba nyang sinasabi.

Inaantok pa ako.

"Hays. Naku babae ka." Kahit naka pikit, alam kong umalis na ito sa harapan ko at pumuntang kusina.
